I used to love this app. Then it disappeared from my iWatch and I can’t download it anymore. Customer Service doesn’t seem to care. They have totally ignored me. Now I can’t get a refund. If I could give them a negative rating I would.
I really like the app overall but run into one thing on the phone that I really would love to see updated. To check the time paddled or the distance you have to open the app while out on the water. Would love to be able to see if from the Lock Screen on the phone. There are a few other apps I use for tacking that do this…FootPath app for example. Just having a running odometer that you can quickly glance at is really handy. Especially for touring on a SUP where you have the distance to a spot known. Could be a Lock Screen widget or just an on screen display like Footpath when recording a GPS track it overlays on the Lock Screen.
Based on the reviews in here, I selected the yearly subscription and confirmed payment. However, it’s forcing me to enable Apple health, which I do not want, and which was not disclosed to me before I paid. I need to cancel today’s payment, but there is no option other than to proceed through Apple health.
Over the past year I’ve played around with several outdoor activity logging apps. The one thing is common appears to be glitches in speed and lateral movement. Random speed changes and erratic tracking distance even in areas with strong signal. I was hoping some of the issues would be resolved as later versions corrected the glitches. Unfortunately now I’m completely unable to use the app unless I download other applications that allow it to track and send information to third party vendors. This problem only exists with this app as I can still use all other apps without any issues.
Hi guys, I’ve been running into trouble with the time logging not shutting off and logging properly. If I go 5 miles it usually take an hour or just over. It will log the route and mileage correctly but the time says 2 days 15 hrs 25 minutes. Have you run into this issue yet and have a fix? I just updated but it still does it.
After running a paddle session, it saves to my iPhone 13Pro+ ok, but then watch freezes up in “saving “ mode on watch, with no means of escape besides rebooting entire watch. Unacceptable!
There has to be a story behind the Squidward/spoungebob characters🤣🫶🏻
Fantastic app! GPS mapping and health metrics, stats in the logbook, are all great. I had a glitch getting my Apple Watch set up with my Health App; contacted customer support and received prompt, personalized, assistance. Could not have been better! I would like to see them add a feature for timed heats and intervals while running Dragon Boat trainings, (they are looking at developing that).
I’ve been using paddlelogger since it was released. I might be one of the first few hundred people to ever use the app. It’s easy to use, the interface is incredibly intuitive. I can log a variety of paddlecraft, customize my activity, notes, add imagery, share with my buddies, share the data if and when needed. It’s a great app for paddling and or even using it for crossover sports like SUP skate/land paddling. I highly recommend it. You don’t have to sift through dozens of other activities to get to the one you want. Also, the emergency flare feature is brilliant, which allows you to notify somebody if you haven’t checked back in within a predetermined amount of time. It’s like having a dynamic float plan. I’m probably going to land paddle for 15 miles this morning, jump back into work, then get out to our lake and put in another 5 to 12 miles. In any case, should something go awry, my loved ones will know where I am. My wife just download it as well. My buddies have been using it. outstanding app.
