Great concept far from fully executed
I want this idea to bloom into something worth using, it just isn’t there yet. Bummed out I updated my phone to iOS 17 just to try it out tbh, pretty disappointing.

okay so I LOVE this app; it’s helping me overcome a social media addiction. I rated 4 stars because there’s tons of room for this app to grow to become even better than it is currently. I’ve compiled a list of some suggestions! option for more than 20 likes have a “random number of likes” option so users can be surprised at how many/how little likes a post receives comments!! add comments!!! PLEASE show the first name of likers ONLY!! showing the last name, even though it’s included the contact info, isn’t realistic as to how other social media platforms are have photo appear side by side like they do on Threads when posting more than 1 photo at a time in a post the order in which photos are added is messed up and doesn’t correlate to the way I add them into the post (e.g. if I want a certain photo to show first, I tap it first and add it to the post. But instead, the app places it 2nd.) add a profile photo feature!!!!! be able to add and change profile picture and have it show next to the posts the option to have an ACTUAL profile to view and edit and customize (e.g. a profile picture, bio, banner photo) a fake followers/following option!!! be able to save multiple drafts be able to save PHOTO drafts without the photo(s) being deleted If these were implemented I really don’t think I’d ever use another, “real” social media platform again.
This is a fun little app to use as a journal and it’s fun to simulate social media. But I echo others that I wish there were an option to have random fake people like instead of your contacts. I also think it would really be interesting to be able to receive “comments” in addition to “likes” as this would really enhance the similarity to actual social media.
I’ve actually been using this as a journal and to help me delete old contacts. So cool. Can you add more likes to this app instead of just 20
I love the idea of this app but I wish it had settings such as light mode(I know I’m weird I just don’t like dark mode). I also wish I could just have fake people respond because contacts it picks to show are people I don’t even have on socials.
You don’t need it but there is something fulfilling about having those contacts on your phone do something!!!
I discovered this app watching television news and became curious. Well it’s not for me, too weird. Completely random contacts pulls giving likes that doesn’t make sense upon this earth. It says nothing leaves my phone but I do not trust!! I immediately removed it.
give an option to have fake people instead of real contacts. bonus points for letting us name them ourselves (i’d probably use that list of gibberish names like Sleve McDichael from that NES japanese baseball game). i don’t care if nothing leaves my device. i don’t want real people drawn from my contacts. i blocked the contacts permission and the app ceased to function, so it’s all or nothing which is mega stinky.
But I do! There’s something so therapeutic of getting something off my chest and feeling supported by my contacts, even though they haven’t actually seen it. I love the concept!
Cute and well designed; and the dopamine hit is real, even though you know the likes are fake. As a bonus, it’s amusing when you get likes from contacts such as “CVS” and “Toyota Financial.”
