Panicube

Panicube is the result of my thesis question: Can two different experiences be created in a video game by only modifying the feedback loop? The result it Panicube: Reward and Punishment. A game about survival, and a game about the player and their preferences. Panicube boasts two different game modes which on the surface, may seem comparable and similar. The goal is the same, the controls, and maybe even some aspects of design. But the tone for each mode is radically different. The rewarding mode heavily rewards the player for doing well and playing the game to the best of their ability while the punishing mode punishes the player for making mistakes and playing poorly. The end result is two different game modes that treat the player differently despite having very similar functionality. So which kind of player are you?
