Panopto

This is quite possibly the worst video app ever made, when I view the screen it is duplicated on both sides I want to be able to look at only one screen I don’t care about the others the fact you do not have the option is incredibly disappointing

Please add picture-in-picture mode. I use Panopto for uni, and it would be a massive addition if you add the feature so I can read/write notes on my ipad. Currently, I need to manually download the video from the website, and then all the video screens are in one frame, and is too small when using another app’s PiP. So, having PiP AND be able to se the screen would be so increadibly helpful. The ability to swap screens is decent, like on web, but some video recordings do not on iPad, but do for web. Some lectures have a screen that is blank, and having it side-by-side my lecturer’s slides is a nuisance.

I can’t believe an app like this does not support landscape mode on an iPad!!!

I cannot hear any sound from my iphone or I pad. Really frustrating cannot access the recordings which would’ve been awesome while driving

So many issues that renders this app completely unusable on iPhone. No matter where in the video I am, if I’m continuing where I left off, the audio starts and resumes from the very beginning, completely unsynced from the video. Sometimes screen is just completely black with audio. Others it doesn’t let me fast forward or rewind. Not once have I been able to view a single video properly. :(

This is the worst experience I have ever had with any application on any platform in my life. It constantly crashes or freezes. It is super frustrating when I’m trying to pay attention to the course material. I absolutely dread every time I have to use this app.

It just turned to black screen evrytime I m trying to watch any recordings. Such a waste of time

Something that’s strange with this app that I’ve not seen anywhere is when you try to fast forward or rewind a video. The audio doesn’t match the video at the new start point, it just keeps going.

So many small bugs makes this app almost useless. So much potential waisted by lazy people unwilling to finish it.

Haven’t even used the app because it won’t let me use my school account on the app, when I try to sign in it will automatically takes me to the website. This would be fine if Panopto had IOS support but it literally just doesn't so why even take there. It’s just wasted my time by me trying to figure out how to use it, just for me to figure out I can’t. This app shouldn’t advertise or partner with schools because the app is not properly built, and isn’t straight forward or easy to use it’s a hindrance on students. It’s annoying that this app even is used in professional settings because the app is far from it. Also (on computer) why make make it seem like recording in your browser is a alternative when it doesn’t even record your screen, it just works as a really bad webcam in the browser. You need to actually install the software on a computer to use the screen recorder. F this software, student around the world despise you because of the negligence your company has about the capabilities of your software.
