Pantry Check - Grocery List

I had just started inventorying my kitchen items on a spreadsheet when I came across this app. I have only been using it for about a week, but so far I am really loving it. The functionality, ease of use, and features have all been great! I just did my first shopping trip using the list created from my inventory. Being able to check things off the list as I went and then just adding them to my inventory at home, so nice! I have heard maybe a recipe component will be added later, which would be so great. But even if it stays as is as far as collaborating with other apps, I plan to keep using it. Loving it!

My son found this software on send it me. Starting to do inventory of all the food I have in my pantry, because my says stop going to the grocery store we have plenty of food here. This was a great idea. My first day I was so excited I put in 88 items. Loving it so far.

What I’ve been doing is after inputting the ingredients I have I export the document and copy and paste to chatgbt to get ideas for meals throughout the day within my calorie deficit. Amazing app, just wish there was one all inclusive of AI recipes!

Just started using this, will update after using more, but great concept and looks like it will fill my needs quite nicely

Excellent well thought out peg

Love this app because of many reasons: 1. The reminder tells you what are the things you have been having for too long, so waste is highly reduced. 2. You know what you have at home and no longer buy duplicated things. 3. The ability to have shopping list and inventory in one app, and move completed shopping items to stock directly. 4. Knowing what you have let you plan for cooking at any time, any place.

It would be nice when you could use categories for different places or allowed to add your own categories.

Has anyone bothered to read all of the privacy policy and everything that they collect from your devices when using this app? Pretty long list of things that they absolutely do not need to collect for this app to be successful. You guys realize that every app you download is tracking private information from your devices and they don’t have to. No matter what you’ve been told, you can reject all of that and still use the app or website if the app gives you a choice which this app doesn’t. Only what you can control on your settings in iPhone and guys that’s not enough.

Would be perfect if it had the ability to make custom categories! I have ingredients that don’t meet the criteria.

I downloaded and spent MANY HOURS setting up for our home. Was pleased with it so far until…..Stupid me didn’t notice it is for IPhones only. My husband is a chef and main cook in our home. He will be the main one retrieving items from inventory. I desperately NEED A WAY FOR HIM TO ACVESS FROM ANDROID PHONE….. Otherwise I have to cancel, find another one and start over. There aren’t enough hours in the day for this!!
