Paper: Sketch, Draw & Create

Why is it that in App Store pro subscription is 42,99 zł for year but in the app it is 499,99 zł?

Considering how ridiculous are the prices for other apps in this category, this one is pretty good. The main features that are missing for me and I wish I noticed the lack of them before i purchased the pro version are 1. Text boxes. Simple as that, it would be useful to add textboxes with different fonts, it doesnt seem to be groundbreaking feature 2. Zooming out on the page so that the tool bar is not constantly in the way. Would love to have a toolbar visible and still be able to see the full page. I really hope it is possible that those things will be added at some point

I am using Paper from 17 or 18 years. And independently, having a lot of other graphic applications- I use Paper as my “main” graphic tool. 5 Stars from my side. * Simple * Easy to use during the first 20 minutes * Intuitive * Fantastic integration with Apple Pencil (and other brands) * Genial “finger blurring” The only two complaints : - Inserting of text has been removed, and - (!!!!!) The BOARD for presenting and remixing of drawings (and corresponding server) HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. Most probably the new Owners decided to reduce costs - destroying the perfect concept. In my opinion quality of notes should be higher. Lines are blurred if you close them. Every similiar app have option to draw cover. I can’t see that here. And it will be great, if i can choose on wich page i want to draw. Right, left, or both. Maybe small option to make stickers? I feel in love with this app, but it is really missing something, so i am blocked inside to buy.

This app has huge potential. Love way how I can scroll between notebooks. Some guys years ago in comments said good thing. Why in portrait mode notes don’t want to rotate to book view ? It is still in horizontal mode but in book view I see it rotate 90 degrees to left 😢 will u work on this app this/next year?

I like the idea of the app and the books n everything but, the fact that you cannot zoom out of the canvas is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Besides, there are just WAY TOO MANY hand gestures! Just reduce it to undo and redo :/

I love Paper and have been using it for years. It’s the best. The limited functionality and beautiful notebooks make it feel more like real life sketchbooks. It’s a perfect companion to Procreate.

Using this app feels like a constant battle against it controls. Because Paper doesn't allow you to drag further than the size of its canvas, you can't ever got into the flow of actually drawing. On one hand you are constantly hiding and brining up the tools bar, because you can leave it open, unless you don't want to access the bottom of your image (again, you can't scroll beyond the canvas). Then on the other hand you can't touch any of of the edges because they are reserved by various gestures. As soon as you forget about those, you suddenly find yourself switching pages or minimizing the app. Using Paper is so frustrating.
