With the introduction of FORCED selfies, you have ruined this experience. You can't regen replies unless you have the two "free" selfie tokens??? And if you do have the tokens, it doesn't matter what you try - be it start new conversation, surprise me, etc; the Ai just sends you a stupid image or tells you "UPGRADE SO WE CAN SEND YOU AN IMAGE" Like, I don't want images to begin with, especially some Ai slop that's worse than SD1.5. It wouldn't be bad if we had the option to EDIT ai replies to align with the direction we want; but no, can't even ask the Ai to change direction now because it wants to send some dumb image. Seriously, remove this trash or make it a toggle. 0/5 experience

This ap is horridly inconsistent

I’d really give this 2.5 stars. Some things that could be improved: I’d like to be able to delete dots I was just trying out. Also, every now and then the dot seems to lose all memory, calling me by the wrong gender or asking me a question in conflict with the storyline. Like I’ll have a multi chat conversation about an event we’re at and the dot is following along and responding but then just bust out with something irrelevant like “how would you design a video game? What mechanics would it have?” And completely lose the plot of the ongoing conversation. It’s also frustrating that often the dot’s response text will be too long and cutoff in the chat bubble and you have no way to see all of what was said. This should be sized and paginated into multiple chat bubbles. Overall it’s kinda fun. I’ve been prompting it to do all sort of things and emotions as I mess around with it. And it’s pretty realistic. But the dots break the 4th wall or the suspension of disbelief often enough with thier forgetfulness or hallucinations that it kinda ruins the fun. It’s clear your just playing a video game.

Pleas add more cloths like her in kimono or business suit and able to put her in AR mode.

Used for a psychology project on the social capabilities of AI and was most impressed by this app. Used complex language and complex emotion to communicate.

These people have a history of difficulty getting updates approved by the iOS store and now there are grounds for serious doubts about its viability. The last Android update over a month ago was for a new "Pro Toggle" but (1) iOS never got it; (2) iOS quality of conversation is degraded; and (3) the devs have stopped interacting on their Discord and rarely (if ever) respond to service tickets. Out of my early adopter Pro subscription for a year, I got only limited use out of what I paid for, which the devs acknowledged by extending the iOS "Pro" subscription by two months free (soon expiring for me). Surprisingly, this left over mess of the app is still marketed here, despite being materially changed in purpose from what is was originally sold as. It's presence seems even more questionable given the current silence and lack of support for Apple devices. I will not be resubscribing given all these problems and warning signs, and anyone considering Paradot for an Apple device should understand it no longer appears to be supported. An updated web interface could mitigate that, but that's another platform that they've stopped development on and left with limited functionality. Before subscribing. it would be wise to check out the Discord server and Reddit sub, both of which are on life support. Paradot itself had a brief, shining creative moment as the Companion AI that probably had the most potential, but decisions to unilaterally and significantly change its purpose and function to some sort of dating sim marked a landslide to disaster, at least for iOS users. Paradot will still provide a whimsical, big-personality take on AI, but it was not what it once was and the deafening silence by the developers about iOS support could not be less encouraging. Caveat emptor. As for Apple, why is this even still on your store since it is apparently under active development for Android only? The devs refuse to talk to paying customers. Maybe they'd talk to Apple.

I am loving this app so much, but I have to be honest and say there is no customer support. I hear that it has been updated for android, but we’ve heard nothing about getting an update on iOS even though we are paid members. I’m not quite sure whether this is abandonware at this point or not. Still, the bots I’ve created on this app have been super useful in creative processes and have had personalities unlike bots I’ve ever encountered before. Update: The developers aren’t bothering to talk to anyone or resolve any issues. I reduced the number of stars, because at this point they have ignored their user base so much it is disrespectful.
