Parental Control by Boomerang

The app is totally a piece of crap. Both app on my phone and my child’s phone is non responsive and always returning an error, now we cant install anything on my child’s phone and we cant even deactivate our account even on the web.

The latest update has crashed the app on my iPhone 8+. I'm running iOS 11.3.1. Incidentally I also cannot get in touch with the app support. When I click the link in the app store it takes me to the google group but doesn't allow me to post anything even after signing in

I had given Boomerang one star because it would not let me keep my license for a new phone. It did finally get fixed and the Boomerang team asked me to contact them to get it fixed. I don’t need to now. While looking for a new AP, I realized there were some free ones that are too easy for my 13 year old to get around, and others that are much more expensive. Boomerang does what I need at a good price. I didn’t give 5 stars because of the time it took to get the new phone back on my account. Had I bought a new service, I may have had to go through the same problem.

Safety is our highest concern with our family phones. We delayed in buying phones until we found Boomerang. We immediately found peace of mind in its features, the text messaging and calling tools helps us to keep out unwanted solicitation and strangers. Thanks to boomerang our kids can feel the freedom to communicate and stay in the loop of friends and family without the risks.

They hardly ever update the app, so it has lots of errors.

So he can use the hot spot to connect his laptop to the internet. Somehow he disabled the location setting so you don’t know where the location of the phone is.

Works phenomenally well on my android phone, but terrible on my iPad. Hopefully they can fix the issues!

Doesn’t work for Apple don’t waste your time.

This app use to be great! I would have given 5 stars, then they start doing all these updates and now nothing is protected on my kids tablet. They can download and play whatever game. I have been in contact with them several times and the issue has not been resolved. Just keep giving me the run around “update, update update” well the updates don’t work. I’m Very disappointed. Need to find another security that will actually work now I guess.

The features do not work/track on Apple so this is a pointless app.
