really good and convenient
Buyer Beware
Downloaded the "free" app with limited info. to use for a trip to Paris. While in Paris, I decided to buy the $5.99 version for the tour / special attraction information. It was also supposed to be able to be used off-line. The $5.99 version information was less then impressive. Also, when I left my hotel and was off-line, it kept crashing and was useless. You're better off looking at Fodor's.
Real time map has limited functionality
I tried using the realtime map and I couldn't zoom in. For a much more elegant , functional , and comprehensive app, that works beautifully with no internet connection, purchase the Mtrip Tavel Guide .
Terrible
App indicated it was free and then took $5.99 from my account for nothing! Got one tour that I didn't want that said it was $2.99 but somehow my account is now $6 less. I have and IPod Touch not a phone so it's basically useless. Beware of just "looking" at this app as it charges you even though it says free.
Very useful app
I liked this app a lot. It shows you some tours and you can see pics of the places you'll visit.
Spend some
Its great, but only the paid version. Better if walking alone with no interference from others so you can pay attention in what you bought.
Bit of a rip-off
As far as I could tell, all of the detailed city information and tours require in-app purchase of $3 to $6 a piece; not what I was expecting from the description. At least the initial download is free.
