PARKALERT: A WELCOME ADDITITION TO EXISTING PARKING APPS
Drivers who are making use of digital Parking Apps regularly forget to switch off parking mode in their Parking Apps on returning to their vehicle. The result is that parking charges paid for, exceed what actually should have been paid.
Drivers also occasionally forget to activate their Parking App on leaving their vehicles.
Also, some drivers have trouble relocating their parked vehicle.
ParkAlert is not a Parking App but a desirable addition thereto which solves the problems stated above.
It works both independently or in conjunction with a Parking App.
PARKALERT: HOW DOES IT WORK?
The ParkAlert system consists of a small sensor, connected to a smartphone by
‘Bluetooth’ connection activated by the ParkAlert App.
THE SYSTEM:
1. Stops parking charges when driving away
The ParkAlert and smartphone connection have a predetermined range. When the smartphone moves out of this range the connection with the ParkAlert is broken and the driver receives an alert that his vehicle is within a metered parking area. This avoids the risk that the driver leaves his vehicle without having paid the parking charges.
2. Prevents forgetting to pay

When the driver returns within the range of the ParkAlert in his vehicle, he receives an alert that. He should switch off his Parking App. At the same time the ParkAlert sensor gives an audible warning in the vehicle. Overpaying parking charges due to forgetting to switch off a Parking App belongs to the past!
3. Easily relocates cars

On leaving the vehicle, the location of the vehicle is saved in the Park Alert App. This facilitates a ‘find my car’ function which is particularly useful in large cities and airports. ParkAlert guides the driver straight back to his car!
4. Improves Car Safety
It is generally accepted that using a smartphone when driving can cause accidents, unnecessary damage and stress. ParkAlert eliminates these kinds of dangers because forgetting to switch off the Parking App is prevented. ParkAlert promotes safety for car drivers.
IT WORKS BOTH INDEPENDENTLY OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH A PARKING APP.
PARKALERT IS A SMART AND LOW COST SOLUTION:
- Against overpaying parking charges
- To prevent non payment of fines
- To easily relocate a vehicle
- To promote safety in traffic

Note: since the application searches for your ParkAlert in the background, your battery life might be reduced.
