Passepartout is a smart VPN client perfectly integrated with Apple platforms. Passepartout is the only app you need for both well-known VPN providers and your personal VPN servers.
Passepartout does not engage any unrequested background activity other than the VPN tunnel, thus being also friendlier to firewalls.

I came across this app on GitHub when looking for an Apple TV app that I could use with my OpenVPN server. This works perfectly and is one of the first apps to support this without the need of a subscription. Also it’s open source which is great!

First you need to pay for the iOS version before you can even start configuring the VPN for SurfShark. Then you can purchase the Apple TV option. There is no option to just pay and use on Apple TV. I already have the Surkshark App on iOS and am happy with that. Just a little bummed for having to pay twice.

It’s a very good app my only complain is that it’s slower than the regular openvpn client. Can you please work in the speed?

I’m getting constant disconnects with the last update using the .ovpn files via Proton… it randomly says “auth failed” even though the user and pass are the same. Please issue an update…
