Password Genie Data Protection

I’ve been using this app for a long time and have found it very user friendly. But since it was bought out by other people services have declined. I’m not clear how this new update only allows 50 inputs when you end up having hundreds after a while. Maybe not worth continuing with this developer for coercing people to delete their data with an update.

When I sign in it tells me I need to update when I push the update bar it takes me back to download product icon no place to update besides it is already updated. Help

When I try to open Password Genie, it says it's syncing but never goes any farther. Works better on computer than tablet.

I've had this app lock up on me while it says "Please wait while syncing data", and the spinning wheel never stops and the app never opens. Meanwhile I cannot access any logins or passwords. I contacted tech support who had me delete and reinstall the app, assuring me that all my data was securely stored in their cloud storage. I deleted and reinstalled and now can access only two of my logins and passwords! More than a dozen others are GONE! Support told me to go to "sync options" in settings and hit manually sync to restore the remainder of my data. When I go to sync options it ONLY has that option available if I upgrade to the Premium version! Basically that means my data is being held for ransome and I would need to pay to upgrade to the premium version to get it all back. Folks, that's called extortion. That's a serious legal no no! At the end of all this, all I got was an "escalated issues ticket" and some assurance that I would be contacted in 1-2 days. I'm not holding my breath. I have to reestablished over a dozen logins and passwords! Save yourself the trouble and the headache and do NOT download this app!

I use this app on a regular basis. This app truly resolved all of my password problems, and it has an easy to use interface that I would recommend to anyone!

Very handy PIN-secured app. Keep all my traveler data, passwords, VIN numbers, etc. Use it daily and have the desktop version, too.

I have Password Genie on both my MacBook Pro and iPhone and find myself using it for about everything. My info syncs between my phone and PC seamlessly. I use for saved logins, bookmarks, notes, birthday reminders & info like insurance and frequent flyer #s. For a time saver it allowed me to take a pic of my insurance card and store it under auto insurance.

It does not tell you when you sign up for Password Genie, that everything you want to do from that point on has to be done in an Upgrade, which means buy the Upgrade... Not happy at all with the product. It does not give you the opportunity to try the software to see if you like it, before pushing you to Upgrade. Not fair.

Great app til I updated. Lost everything! Do not recommend!
