Great idea
This app is a great idea and the execution is pretty good but there’s a few bugs that make it very difficult to use sometimes. The worst one is when the app does allow you to open your messages or friend requests. This means that I basically have to exchange some other kind of contact info immediately when the app does decide to let me use the messenger so we can converse and plan an outing. Would rate 5 stars if it wasn’t for the bugs. UPDATE: The issue with the messages has been fixed with 2.1.4 but this same issue still persists when trying to accept friend requests.
Needs a bit of work
Ratings aren’t sport relevant I.e. climbing has specific graded numbers from 5.1 to 5.15 yet the app does beginner intermediate advanced Geographic area is distance meaning you may get people who are “close” but aren’t really as there is a border or other obstacle I think it has potential but still needs some refinement. I found easier ways to connect with people for my sports
Looks great but...
Dear iOS Developers, this app has a nice user interface, but even when you allow full access from the app (and settings) you won’t receive any notifications when someone messages you. Please fix this bug! I am using iOS 11

Can’t log in
Has Pastimes shut down? Login always gives me “A server with the specified hostname could not be found.” Too bad.
Doesn’t work
App just crashes because it can’t find the server. Please fix it
