Payment for Stripe

Out of nowhere, the Apple commonly reset requiring, you don't have to re-login in front of your customer and then it wipes out all your settings so if you have tips and gratuity turn on, it's now turned off and you just lost out on your next tips. This is a money losing app the way it's configured.

Great place with lots of things

I open a account and the first day works fine next day I receive a email saying that they couldn’t support my business anymore and then they have to refund all the money to the costumers theft app do not use

Decent when you can get it working but relies on signal which in some buildings can be weak. Also, the setup was a pain and there wasn’t much online to help explain especially when the reader won’t connect to the software (in my case needed to be updated twice before working).

I made a transaction with my client, verified it with 2FA. Stripe flagged it for fraud. They act as judge and jury. They would not refund my customers money after multiple attempts and emails. Nor would they put the money in my business account. You can not get anyone on the phone. Talked with a lawyer, who use to work for stripe. Their quote was “ good luck with getting someone on the phone”

Maybe 25% of the time something goes wrong. Also the tipping screen is small and hard for customers to see

Very easy and practical

Still haven’t received my call back after my money went missing. Take heed!!!! They are very sketchy and you will regret it.

After I log in, the two methods of verification are by special key, which I don’t have or by scanning a QR code which is displayed on the phone I would need to scan it with the camera on my phone. Both are non starters so I close that window to get a code sent by text. It then says “verification cancelled” and when I enter the code from stripe, nothing happens. It doesn’t seem that this product went through much in the way of UX testing and I would distrust any security measures they have in place, since I doubt those were tested either. Not going to use it.

Do not use this app unless you like to be robbed of your hard earned money. They take out a much bigger cut than advertised and their customer service blows. They talk to you like you’re an idiot and then they give you the run around. Make sure you read all the HIDDEN fine print before you decide. It’s ran by two companies who both take their cut so if you like to work for your money and then give it away to scammers, then this is the app for you.
