PCalc

Well not so much gone as incompatible with iOS 18. The calculator widget for this app was the old kind introduced with iOS 13 and iOS 18 doesn't support those. It needs an iOS 17 widget as well now. The full-calculator-in-a-widget is a big thing to lose.

I want to add a simple calculator to my Home Screen of the iPad, please add a widget!!

There is none better. Lacks nothing. Excellent on iPad and iPhone. Thanks for a brilliant app.

I decided to finally purchase a calculator for my iPad as there is no Apple version as standard. There are many what are available in the App Store - but I chose this due to its range of scientific functions plus a number require a yearly subscription whilst this was available as a one-off payment and hence works out to be significantly cheaper. The calculator itself is great, easy to customise and furthermore you can download a very informative instruction manual for it. However, what raises it above all the others and makes it that much more intriguing - is its obvious references to The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - plus the rather fun Easter Eggs that exist within it - hint enter the About Screen. Clearly I haven’t tried all the other Calculator Apps in the store - so I can’t say hand on heart this is the best; but it’s hard to imagine one that matches it for both the serious ‘functions’ it provides plus the more ‘fun’ features. I also understand that this was one of the first calculators to be offered for Apple Products (going back to the early Macs). Highly Recommended.

Great calculator best in marketplace

This has been my go to calculator for 7 years. Easily programmable, meaning I can set up one touch buttons so my staff can do calculations on their own without bothering me. Constantly updated, making use of shortcuts etc that put other much bigger app developers to shame.

It has been my go to calculator app for a while but for the last few weeks I’ve been using it more than ever as I’ve been home schooling. Great app. Easy to use. Every function I could need and customisable.

Pcalc has made life much easier, especially for engineering calculations. I love all the little details; it shows that this is a real labour of love.

uses bad floating point math that can result in the user being bitten by incorrect results, many valve on app store have this flaw, but not all get recommended by Apple - value your work and seek a calc that works correctly

Like the HP12C but with loads of extras. Thank you for producing and maintaining such a great app.
