Insanely expensive
Yet another app that is useless without an totally overpriced subscription. Shame, looked nice.

Yet another app that is useless without an totally overpriced subscription. Shame, looked nice.
Buyer beware. This is probably the worst camera app I’ve ever used. Super laggy and the functionality is horrible. I’ve concluded, this app is nothing more but a money grab. I was a first time user and was not offered a free trial. I would've definitely not paid for my experience.
I sold my Fujifilm x100f 3 years ago with a plan to use only my iPhone. I immediately regretted it and it is now impossible to get a new x100 Fujifilm camera. This app has solved my problem! I now have the “Fuji-effect” on my iPhone!! Thank you for making such a great app!!!
And I’m actually impressed! I can’t carry it everywhere and this does wonders compared to the nasty coloring the iPhone camera comes with. Gets me a lot closer than when I start with a raw photo. Well done!
I would rate this 5 stars if only it wasn't laggy. Most of the time it stutters when moving in and out of menu's. My guess is probably because of the film simulations. Although I have an iPhone 15 pro max, processing speeds shouldn't be a problem. This is a great app that they made. Looking forward for more updates.
As a user of a Fuji X100V, this app peaked my interest. I can verify that the simulations you get from the app do mirror what you can find on the X100 series. I also like the ability to shoot JPEG and raw at the same time so I can still have the original image available to edit if needed. I’m still trying to get a few things to work correctly so input from the developer would be appreciated. It appears I can only use portrait mode with the telephoto lens. Is that correct? An update with the wide lens would be great. And when I tried to adjust the shutter speed manually, the metadata reflected a different shutter speed. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. But I’m going to keep this app around for a while to see how much I use it. I’ve downloaded and deleted a lot of different ones over the years, including the recent Leica app which wasn’t very robust. But I’m liking this one!
It takes a minute to settle into the full features of this app. But when you see how deep you can actually adjust and work with the settings it's absolutely fantastic. Best film/camera app I've used and I've tried the majority of them. Image quality is untouchable. Great work, happy to pay a subscription for quality apps and tools like this!
Considering this is a film simulation type of application, I’ve spent a lot of time (and money) on seeing various apps that offer the closest color science that film has to offer. In terms of colors it appears that this company has it down pact since it appears that most color profiles are very similar to Fuji. Despite me saying it is comparable to Fuji, I would not say this is the best film sim application for its current price point. FILCA has far more film simulations and ergonomics are much more fluid than trying to make your app look like a camera. It’s a cool concept but very unnecessary. My best recommendation for this company is to actually make this an affordable one time purchase and allow people to want to use your app. I do understand there is a free trial, but in a realistic world no one is going to use/abuse a free trial that only lasts a couple of days. If I do ever see this become a one time purchase situation, then I’ll come back. Until then I’d rather spend my money on a roll of film.
The film simulations are excellent, but I was very curious about the log functionality. I was sceptical about the S-Log3 claims but decided to try it myself. It's unbelievable how closely it matches my Sony A7Siii! I'm primarily a filmmaker, and the fact that I can now load my LUTs to this app, take full-resolution JPEG+RAW, and have it instantly match my Instagram Reels is incredible. It is now my default camera app for photos, and if they can apply this color space transformation functionality to video, it would replace the Blackmagic camera app too.
The pictures that come from the app are nice I suppose. I’ve seen better, but I’ve also see way worse. However, I have an X100vi and to say this app can replace that camera is comical. It isn’t even in the same ballpark. The interface is also horrible. The UI is nice looking, but far too small and far too difficult to use. App should be in free until a few things get ironed out. Potential is there, but this isn’t worth the subscription in its current state.
