Pearls And Lace

Beschreibung

I was always the girl in high school getting made fun of for wearing heels walking down the hallway. Everyday I was dressed up. I don't even know if I owned a pair of sweatpants. (I'm a mom now. Trust me...I own some now.) Fashion was just something that always peaked my interest. Accessories were my favorite and still are. The bigger and blingier the better. After going back and forth in college trying to decide between majoring in music, cosmetology, or teaching, I decided to go for Merchandising of Textiles, Apparel, & Furnishings with a Minor in Business. I enjoyed every class and trip to Chicago. I wasn't sure where life would take me with this degree, but I enjoyed every minute. After an internship at Nordstrom and a job offer in the Management Program for Buckle, Retail seemed to be the road I was destined for. After about 3 years with Buckle traveling, living in Oklahoma, and running my own store, I was ready to settle down and have a family so after my son Jace,8, was born I got into Insurance. Soon after I had my son Jaxon,6, I bounced around with jobs for awhile not really finding my niche. In 2016 I went through a divorce. We all have a different life story and we all go through a lot to find ourselves. 2016 was a year of growth for me as a person, a mom, and employee. Later in the year I met someone I least expected to find so soon. He became a huge part of my life. Someone I needed to become the woman I wanted to be. He saw me fall but believed in me. Because of his optimistic attitude being self employed he made me believe that I could also follow my dreams. So thanks to him and his family...here I am...making my dream my reality. Austin and I married December 31, 2019. We currently reside outside Guthrie Center, Iowa and are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Austin works for Guthrie County and with his brothers Skylar and Payden they also run a cow calf operation pursuing their dreams. My two sons Jace and Jaxon are both in school at ACGC in Guthrie Center and loving it. I recently left my job at State Farm to have more flexibility and time for family so now I solely run Pearls & Lace chasing goals one at a time. We recently had our third child, a boy named Corbitt who bring so much joy to our lives. He is now considered my coworker. :) We are blessed to continue to grow our family. Our life is hectic but we take in every moment we can and count our blessings. Mom.Wife.Boss.
