Penmate: Send mail to jail

I like app I can get messages good and send pictures try it you can talk to your love one

This service is useless!!! First, It cost over 10$ to mail 2 very short letters. Second, the letters went from MD. To CA Rd or some reason when they were going to VIRGINIA. They are STILL in CA and it has been EIGHT DAYS. yes EIGHT DWYS. it should have taken TWO. and third, I have written customer service multiple times and I have yet to receive an answer. 1 star... They deserve ZERO!!!!!

I like the app it serves its purpose. But it used my credits to send photos and the recipient isn’t even able to see them I do not like that I have to add my name every time. And it does take a while to load. But it works and I am able to communicate with my friend.

I sent 3 pictures to my loved one and a postcard that I was charged $13.00 to send and they delivered them to the wrong jail. When I reached out to the help email nobody responded to my email or even attempted to reimburse me for the mistake. They don’t deserve any stars but it made me put one star. 😠

I had a friend that got locked up for nearly 5 months I was referred to this app I setup an account sent several messages costing me $30 and none of them were even given to him or even sent to him. DO NOT PUT MONEY INTO THIS APP ITS A SCAM!

Was able to find my friend and chat with her. Easiest way to get in contact specially if your unsure of how to send mail.

I feel like it was a waste of my time and my money ..it’s been two weeks and they are saying that it’s still being review and on top of that charged me a $11.95 for absolutely nothing..I don’t know if it’s a scam or not but I do know one thing it sure does feel like one..to anyone new that hasn’t went through with this app I would really recommend you to try or go another way as far as reaching out to whoever it may be that u are trying to write ..bc anything else has gotta be better then this ..I’m completely disappointed!!!!

I sent out 2 letters and it said that it was delivered but it never was. Its been almost a month and honestly this app is a scam. The reviews made me trust this app but its not trustworthy

I paid them to send my man letters and pictures twice and both letters and I pictures were sent back to me he received nothing and the company will not respond so fine they can keep there money they took from me but I will never recommend them to anyone

Penmate is a trustworthy app that works great. I was happy to see that they print your emails and photos and actually mail them to the inmate. A physical letter and photos they can hold and keep is far better that electronic communications they can only see on a device. An actual letter feels more personal. Penmate does charge you, but it’s a reasonable fee for all the work they do for you. I recommend communicating with inmates responsibly with the full knowledge that facilities monitor and read all communication. I’m impressed with the Penmate app and company and recommend them 100%.
