Penultimate

I have tried more than 10 handwriting applications for keeping my work notes. Honestly, there is not any other application than Penultimate, at the moment, which gives you the satisfaction and feeling like you are using your pen and your paper at your desk. Synchronizing with Evernote, exporting to PDFs, sharing notes in "chat" mode etc, gives you the opportunity to avoid typing all the time, or sending messages. Congratulations to the technical team. you have destroyed the app bring back the old ui with the notebooks

The last major update was awful. Please bring back even as an option the next/previous page buttons. They are very helpful when you are taking notes in full page view and you need a new blank page.

It was perfect until update...just before purchase the full version. Guys run back....where is the future.

Trouble started before the update (I was losing notes which were visible in thumbnails but not in page) but the latest update has been a complete and unmitigated disaster. The notebook metaphor has disappeared, no more pages, no more thumbnails, ink is worse, handwriting is slower (to the point of being cumbersome), two finger scrolling works haphazardly, usability is worse (you need a minimum of 3 and often 4 clicks to do what could be done with 2). Lack of pages/thumbnails means tons of notes are now rendered useless as it is practically impossible to scroll through 150 pages of notes to find something. Switching to Bamboo or Notability ASAP but even NotesPlus and Noteshelf are currently better alternatives than this debacle. Shame on you Evernote for destroying what was the best note taking app with a single "upgrade".

Takes it to another level and I haven't discovered all possibilities yet.

Pros: good with jot script Cons: Palm rejection needs improvement, from time to time there are lines from the resting palm in the notes Needs: either a zoom window feature like good notes or something to reduce the scrolling speed when you write at zoom mode Fix those if you may and 5 stars from me.

Using it for both my Work & MBA. It's one of my favs. you can easily sketch and write, mind map etc. All "upgrades" made by the developers are pretty useful, keeping it high in my choices.
