Penzu

Hi, i lost all old entires from my journal and I can’t view them anymore !! Please if u see my review help me restore them.. i don't think they are deleted since when i open some memorial emails of the diaries i can see them.. please i want them back it’s necessary..

Any service given for free but has no value without paying for the pro version is nothing but a fancy ad. In this case I might as well use the notepad app. I guess I just don't like being spammed for ad. #fail

Enter entries that no one can see unless you type in the correct password. Open it on your device anytime and write away! No one will ever read your entries and you can look back on your past entries and laugh at your opinions! This app is all you need to feel happy, full, and calm. ☺️ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I think Penzu is a great app that everyone should download. If I had to describe Penzu in three words it would be THE BEST APP!!!! I hope everyone else can realize this, too. I was optimistic about using the Penzo app, especially after purchasing the Pro version, but my experience has been quite disappointing. Despite multiple attempts, the app is riddled with bugs, including disappearing notes and the sudden appearance of 50 pages of "untitled" empty notes. These issues have rendered the app unusable. I reached out to customer support several times, and while they suggested solutions like wiping local storage and ensuring the app is synced, these steps did not resolve the recurring problems. These persistent issues have discouraged me from using the app, and I have since switched to another solution for journaling.

I’ve been using Penzu for journaling for years now. It has its quirks and a few bugs, but it gets the job done and I keep renewing my subscription. So that says a lot.

What sets Penzu apart from similar apps for me is how you can very easily sync it between iPhone and desktop. And i just love everything about it, this is the journal app I always reccomend to people. I’ve been using it for around 3 years now. I’m very surprised how it’s not more popular, but I love Penzu and couldn’t reccomend it more.

I am writing this review in hopes that I can change my rating from a three star to a five star review. I have been a long time Penzu user. I absolutely love having a private journal on my phone. My main issue with the app is that it force closes or crashes every single time I try to make an entry through the app on an iOS device if I record my entry using voice recording. If I type my entry I have no issues. When I click record using the microphone and dictate the text, it usually force closes after punctuation such as a comma or a period. My workaround is to dictate my entry in another journal and copy and paste it into Penzu but it distorts the formatting and becomes a headache. If Penzu was able to figure out why this was happening, and it has been an issue issue for almost 2 years, I would happily write this app five stars. If you don’t use a voice dictation feature on an iOS device, I would highly recommend this app for your journaling means. Even the free version is great.

I have used this platform/app since 2016. It is remarkable to look back and see how I can compare myself to myself. Enlightening to say the least. This is the perfect app for me. Thanks Penzu!🫶

Great online. Terrible app. Can't open individual journals.
