Cute but flawed
Does seem somewhat interesting and so far I've been keen to learn all the aspects of the game. Got my dot to adulthood and hatched a new baby. In the end I guess it's all about trying to generate cutest dots and I can see how that would appeal to many. However the game just freezes, doesn't recognize things as it should and bogs down every now and then. Greatest issue I see is the insane battery consumption. I can get less than an hour of playtime and charge drops even with charger plugged. I'm afraid it will destroy the battery within months if not weeks
Fun at first sight
This game is fun at first sight but in reality it isn’t for everyone. To advance you have to use real money (and lots of it!!). Not really worth it! (You can’t do anything fun without paying!!) The game has potential but this pay wall ruins the whole game! What a shame..
back to the 2000s
very early pokemon / tamagotchi virtual pet vibe on this game, heartwarming experience for someone who grew up with that era! the paywall problem is prominent, but seeing some older game reviews online, it seems like from beta to release, niantic removed some very fun core-feature seeming parts like.. you apparently could grind for nest parts? work for them with gameplay as opposed to pay-to-win? high hopes for ths game, its clearly labor of love, but needs some balancing!

Peridot tarjoaa muutaman päivän kestävän matkan Tamagochi-henkisessä seikkailussa, mutta iskee sitten päin kasvoja aivan älyttömällä maksumuurilla… En suosittele kenenkään edes aloittavan peliä, sillä vain ensimmäiset kaksi Peridotia ovat saatavilla ilmaiseksi. Tästä eteenpäin, on jokaista Peridotia kohden maksettava 5€, joka on täysin posketon hinta pelissä, jossa Peridotin saa kasvatettua aikuiseksi ja opetettua liki kaikki temput yhden vuorokauden aikana. Sittenkö pitäisi maksaa taas seuraavat 5€, jotta saa taas lisäännyttyä ja avattua uusia rotuja? Kenen älynväläys tämä on oikein ollut? Kuka kuvittelee pelaajien maksavan tajuttoman suuria summia siitä, että saat jalostettua ja kerättyä erilaisia virtuaalilemmikkejä, joka on kaiken lisäksi pelin perimmäinen tavoite. Ei näin!
Bored after 2 days
Not much to do in the game. You reach adult in 2 days afterwards you need to pay to buy a nest to get another dot. Basicaly you need to pay every 2 days. Not a free to play game

Aluksi pelissä saa yhden nest:in ilmaiseksi mutta sen jälkeen joutuu maksamaan 6€. Peliä ei oikein voi pelata ilman niitä joten vähän tylsäksi jää jos ei käytä rahaa.
It’s fun at first
After raising your first dot to an adult, the fun ends. The main feature of the game is behind a paywall. I am not paying 6 euros for a single nest in order to breed ONE dot! Niantic do better
Addicting and Active
This game has helped me get out of the house more with my partner! I love how much fun it is seeing different dots and hatching options there are! It’s so easy to get addicted to trying to collect them all! I’ve been able to hit new goals in game- with my partner- and my physical goals! Thanks Peridot!
