For over 10 years, PHD has been offering youth in Connecticut and New York the most complete AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball experience - emphasizing player development, teamwork and leadership. Our programs are designed to help inspire self-confidence, athletic excellence, academic achievement and leadership - both on and off the court. We offer several teams per age group that are open to elite, travel, school and recreational players - participating in tournaments locally, regionally and for our elite teams, nationally.
CLINICS, CAMPS & SMALL GROUP WORKOUTS
Our basketball clinics and camps are designed to teach players the fundamentals of basketball in a safe and enjoyable environment. With a staff of experienced coaches and players, these events provide a great opportunity for players to learn from professionals who have had success both on and off the court.
Each clinic includes competitive drills for dribbling, shooting, passing, defense and game situations. Athletes will learn basketball IQ and become students of the game.
Our entire staff is committed to pushing each player to the next level, whatever that level may be, through an intense and detailed approach to training and playing the game.
PRIVATE “ONE-ON-ONE” TRAINING
PHD private basketball training is for players who want to learn the proper techniques and drills to help improve their overall skills. Our trainers pay attention to detail and focus on the proper fundamentals to help develop players of all skill levels.
Whether you are a young player that wants to become a better shooter, or if you want to focus on your ball handling, post moves, rebounding or any other skill, PHD trainers have the workouts you too need to improve in all these areas.
All of our trainers have years of experience playing and coaching basketball and love teaching young players what it takes to be great. Regardless of your skill level, PHD basketball trainers break down the nuances of the game while employing drills that transfer into a game setting.
THE GUN™ SHOOTING MACHINE & VERTIMAX™ STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
All our players will have the opportunity to use our state-of-the-art training equipment including The Gun™ shooting machine and our Vertimax™ strength & conditioning system. Moreover, we offer small group workouts and private one-on-one sessions where participants are put through a comprehensive workout incorporating shooting, ball handling and jumping movements.
