Honest review: I like all the other aspects of it, matching it with WGT is great, the ball flight seems genuine it’s just the putting is so awful. You’ll be 15ft from the pin and hit it as you normally would and it flies 60ft. Be 2ft way so tap it and it goes 2 inches, needs some real work or an option to avoid putting. There needs to be a way of changing the shot type too, from a chip to a flop etc. Would be nice to have other game types like top golf or the equivalent so it’s fun for all the family. Great concept, some work needed for it to be actually great

This app works just fine on my iPhone or iPad but just fails to load constantly on the Apple TV. This is a shame really as it would be great to use this without having to mirror. Putting is awful on this so best to select a fairly decent auto concede on it or you will be very frustrated. If you don’t take it to ok seriously then it’s just good fun.

This is a fun game so don’t take it too seriously as a golf trainer coz you will be disappointed. You can swing your stick like a base ball bat as long as it swings straight and the ball will fly. The online games are annoying as you can see people are not playing the standard golf way as the ball flies so far, and there must be a hack somewhere coz when their ball goes too far off the green, the screen stops and all of a sudden their ball is on the green, even heard the ball splashing in the water and ‘hey presto’ for their next shot they’re on the green. Overall a good fun game to play with your mates together over a few beers 🍺

Please do not waste your money on this equipment. It is the most unrealistic experience of any golf game I have played. The way you have to swing within the game is crazy. For example when in a bunker and faced with a 20 ft shot to the hole I swung as I would on the course and the ball travelled about 50 yards out of bounds. The only way I could get the ball close to the pin from the bunker was to do a putting style swing can you imagine attempting to hit the ball from out of a bunker like this in a real game! In addition to this the yardages are ridiculous for example a full swing on a 9 iron would see the ball go no more than 100 yards. I have played with Phigolf twice and intend to sell it on as I genuinely believe playing with this regularly will have a detrimental effect on your real game. Stay well clear!

Got the Phigolf for Xmas , was excited but have struggled continuously to even open the app and use the simulator. Complete waste of time and I won’t even get back the 48 hours of my life wasted trying to get the pan friend nonsense to work!

Does this app ever work?!?!?

Driving range is poor needs to resemble a real range with targets etc , also green side chipping to real flag positions around a green and also for putting similar to tru golf home studio which looks really good

I open the app and it says unable to connect to the server even though my internet is perfectly fine.

The screenshots show WGT as an option (the reason I bought it), but within the App it’s missing.

Really impressed with the experience on setting up the iPhone app and connecting my new Phigolf sensor. Worked really well, and I thought the range of games/modes was great. Improvements that would enhance experience: visual aid on equivalent swing face (I.e. picture to show face versus swing path after each swing). Plus, the ability to connect more than 1 sensor at a time to really improve multiplayer. I also tried the Apple TV app, but even though it connected to the sensor first time, it then subsequently didn’t reach the “Ready” step in one of the game modes, so I couldn’t actually swing it (the light stopped flashing, but it was still connected with full battery). Hopefully this can be fixed, as an Apple TV app for this would be a great time saver (avoiding need for mirroring). Overall, very impressed and can’t wait to use further!
