I had played this game a while back and just replayed it and am once again so impressed with it. This is a truly wonderful, clever, and challenging game. Really brilliant. Dev, please make more!

CAPTIVATING STORY
You wake up within a dark basement, holding an unfamiliar mobile device which is your only source of light. A message from an unknown sender arrives, seemingly responsible for your captivity. Your only hope to escape is to follow this individual’s directives, tasked with solving challenging puzzles using all the available tools from the operating system of the mobile device along with the clues of the 3D environment to uncover the truth.
INTUITIVE CONTROLS
Using the in-game Camera App, drag to look around so as to explore and interact with the environment. Tap on hotspots to move to, or interact with places of interest. Access the available applications from the home screen of the enigmatic device.

The movements are all mirrored. So you move your finger one way, and it takes you the opposite of what you'd expect -- and there's no option to fix it. Most games have an option for this in settings. Very annoying and makes me not want to play. Also the settings aren't clear as to what is turned on or off. So we're off to a bad start, even without getting into the substance yet. Also, there is no way to just skip a puzzle or get the solution if you don't feel like doing a particular puzzle. How ridiculous lol. No other game does that to you. That says, it seems like this game could have a lot of good potential, as the graphics are impressive. So I'm giving it two stars, with room to grow when all of the above issues are fixed.
Fantastic - must play
Ignore the negative review, the puzzles were hardly obscure, nor the story was weak!! (Every game isn't everyone's cup of tea) I will gladly buy anything this developer makes. The puzzles were great and were integrated into the mystery and storyline. Not your same old boring puzzles either. Bravo!! Please keep making games.
Great little escape game!
To those familiar with Journal 29, it will be no surprise that the puzzles in this escape adventure are top notch - logical, thoughtful, and often requiring some out-of-the-box thinking. It controlled great and had a visceral atmosphere that really captured the stressful situation your character is put in. My one gripe (although really a compliment) is that I wish it were longer! But for the price, it’s well worth it. Looking forward to more of these!
I like the books much better
I didn’t enjoy it as much as the books. The books are much better and require. Ore thought. I didn’t enjoy the story line so much and still don’t really get what happened. I will, however, purchase the next one that comes out and give it a try again. Thank you for making these.
Engaging
I’ll gladly consume anything from the minds of Journal 29! Thrilling game with thiughtful puzzles. Just know once you get rolling it’s easily finished within a day.
