I had the pleasure of being assisted by Caleb. He was able to answer all my questions with regard to adding a business line to my existing phone. He was patient and knowledgeable. He understood what I need and was able to deliver, with professionalism. Even when i was having difficulty navigating the computer system, he was kind enough to stay with me till I finally got it. Bugs, stopped working
Stopped working, I get calls, but can never answer it, it shows “connecting”, but never actually connects me. Unreliable.

I got this app to help my business and it made it so much worse. Customer service is so impossible. I couldn’t wait to transfer my number out of this. Save your time and money.
Increasingly unreliable
Update: Today I couldn’t access an account by options via keypad. I pressed the numbers but no sound was made. Had to hang up, call again, and wait until the entire option menu was given and wait until a human answered. Very frustrating.
Now there’s a new glitch. When I receive a call, multiple screens flash when I answer. I would like to enter a number response on the keypad but whenever I press the keypad option in the call it disappears. I did just update the iOS the day before this problem began.
Not sure why so many bad reviews
I’m surprised how many people have had bad experiences with the app and phone.com in general. I started with them for my business in Dec 2022 and literally have not once considered changing my phone company. Nothing will ever be perfect, but myself and my staff members have no complains about anything from phone.com. Anytime we have had an issue, customer support has always helped us resolve it. In the office we have an actually phone for calls and use the computer desktop app for faxes and texts. My cell phone is the backup phone. We have also plugged a headset into a laptop and used the desktop app to answer and make calls that way too. We also have an out of office staff member who makes calls and texts weekly using the app on her cell phone with no complaints.

This thing is so buggy in so many ways. I’m kind of stuck with it but really regret my decision.

This app is unreliable. It’ll work at first then completely freeze up and never work again until you uninstall and reinstall. I’m on a 15 pro but this happened on my 14 as well. I’ve reinstalled this over 200 times in 1 year to get it working. Frustrating when you get important phone calls and have to uninstall and reinstall. I’ve called tech support and their “fix” is to uninstall and reinstall lol looking for a new voip provider now.. you should too
Unreliable App
I have been using this mobile app on my iPhone since about June 2024. Many times when I dial out, the app will indicate “ringing”, yet nothing seems to be happening, no ringing, just a lot of nothing. This frequently happens in my home office where I have very high speed WIFI connectivity, but it also happens when I’m traveling to a local appointment where other phone calls are not an issue. The app seems unable to consistently make a reliable connection to an even a local number I have just dialed. The tech support solution is always the same, 1) logout of the app, log back-in, if that doesn’t clear the problem, 2) delete the app, download the app, log-in, enable permissions… That seems to fix the problem only temporarily, maybe for a day or two, then the problems resurfaces. Lately a new and even more frustrating problem has emerged. When receiving or sometimes making a call, the screen on my iPhone randomly goes completely dark, to the point where I cannot see anything on my phone, let alone the brightness adjustment. This has had very serious ramifications. I am frustrated because I use this app for my business and never anticipated the overall performance would be this glitchy. I have asked tech support to escalate this issue with their engineering team. I would appreciate the ability to discuss at length with an R&D team the various technical issues I have incurred. This app has a lot of potential, but currently there are too many bugs or design flaws.
