Photo AFib Detector (Lite)

I have had AF over 10 years and suffered a major stroke 9 years ago. This app easily detects any incidences of AF (if you put your finger over the right bit of the camera).

Is there an update to this app. I have used it for years and it has been great at detecting if I’m in AF. Recently when it gives me results, the screen writing is written on top of itself so you can’t really read it. Just make out if normal or abnormal. A small bug but no updates have been released. Thank you

Tried many times. It isn’t able to detect in iPhone x.

I thought this would be a perfect little tool to keep track of my condition but it just does not work. Tried for ages but it restarts/ does not detect. I am ising an iphonex is this commin?

Great app to have on hand should you feel your heart is going at a fast rate. There are a number of settings. Just use the standard as this will detect if you have AF.

I developed atrial fibrillation after heart surgery. The surgeon has put me on pills to get me back into sinus rhythm. My doctor thinks the app capable of indicating sinus rhythm so I can book an ECG to confirm. The app is tricky to use on standard setting. Because my heart beat is erratic my hand can jump around, no matter how relaxed I think I am. I tend to start on fast, then normal and if I'm not too far out of kilter I'll spend 3 minutes on standard.

I don’t know yet how accurate it is but most other heart monitors charge extra if you want anything other than basic heart rate. This app offers more for free. But unfortunately half the time i use it it just doesn’t work, stays the toilet over and over even though i’m not moving

Will not work on iPhones with multiple cameras because you have to put your finger over the cameras and the flashlight simultaneously which is impossible to do. Worthless if you have a new iPhone.

This can be difficult to use. Sometimes will not give a basic reading. Not good when you are concerned with your heart.

Used this in an attempt to verify accuracy 10 min pre and post having an Echo Cardiogram which confirmed Dx of Afib The app iPhone 7 showed NO ABNORMALLY both pre & post echo This should be removed from the internet
