Photobox: Photo Books & Prints

I’ve been using Photobox for some time now, every year I’ll make our family calendar. The new changes made my job soo much harder using the app or website it was very frustrating.

Have used the app yearly to create photo books and always found it very easy with a great end product. Now, this year, the app appears to no longer work as an in app editor - can’t edit layout or designs in the app and it redirects to a basic web page with terrible functionality. Therefore not able to create photobooks. Will order elsewhere

Wish I could give it no stars In simple terms: Awful communication Awful shipping Awful tracking of packages Please make sure if you ever do buy from them order way in advance otherwise they they will just disappoint.

I’ve tried to create a calendar six times but keeps coming back with a screen telling me there’s problems, lost faith in the app moving on to another company

I used Albelli for over 15 years and I was in love with the quality of the photo albums. Unfortunately it was acquired by Photobox and the quality is so bad. I ordered two photo books and they are both just not good. I’m going to have to find another company.

Cannot change the orientation of my screen as it's fixed on portrait but I'm using an Apple Magic Keyboard- Apple advised it's not them it's the app developer's issue they need to update

Love Photobox and used to love the app but the functionality has gone backwards. You used to be able to do multiple backgrounds and choose themes on the app on your phone, this year the app is very basic and buggy. I’ve ordered photo books and a calendar and could only get block background colours as an option. Bring back the themes! Designing a mug is so tricky on your phone I’ve given up… go back to 2022 functionality! It was much better!!!

What happened? I’ve used Photobox every year to make albums for grandparents. Loved the auto-cropping and full bleed options. All gone or very not obviously available. Seems to be a web-app now rather than native? Cost cutting at the expense of user experience? Unfortunately, it’s now also at the expense of actual orders. I’m off elsewhere until you’ve sorted it out.

Using photobox for many years - so easy. Now difficult. So many tries to make calendar and photo book, get so far then Cuts off. Will now give up.

Photobox app only works if you give full access to photo library. No thanks. Deleted from iPhone until you want to add the option to share/upload selected photos.
