L'app oltre ad essere un valido strumento informativo e di promozione del territorio e delle sue attività, consente un'interazione bidirezionale con i cittadini tramite messaggistica push e segnalazioni.
Sono altresì attivabili moduli specifici quali sondaggi, attività calendarizzate e altre utility tipicamente utilizzate dai Comuni.
A differenza di app simili, Comune Smart consente un significativo livello di personalizzazione dedicato ad ogni singolo Comune in modo da valorizzarne il suo territorio e la sua identità.
