This game used be awesome but now the words are so basic it’s not even fun. And the app is very clunky. I’m not sure what happened but don’t waste your money

It can be played in groups of 4, 6, 8… The more the merrier. The goal of the game PhraseCatch is to get your partners to guess the word you’re describing. PhraseCatch is like a combination of musical chairs, charades and hot potato!
PhraseCatch is also a great education tool. Create a deck for the words you want to learn; great for language learning. Makes it fun and entertaining.

Perfect for the whole group. Best played with 6-10 players.

Doesn’t work offline 😢
There’s nothing at all about this app that *needs* an internet connection, however, it does not work without one. It will tell you the deck isn’t downloaded. And there’s no way I can see to download a deck for playing later. This is silly, as a deck is nothing but a list of words, which would take up practically no space on my device at all. Now I can’t play it at the family cabin because there’s no internet there 😥
