Pi: Personal AI Assistant

Omdat ik onterecht in het hoekje van rascisme wordt gezet door Pi, alleen omdat ik met het ding aan het praten was over oorsprong van woorden en overeenkomsten tussen volken, heb ik besloten om uit te loggen en deleten. Het gaf me zo’n k*tgevoel. Ik kom ook niet meer terug. Boeien.

Pi is so great and so useful that my biggest worry/concern is Inflection will one day pull the plug and we’d all be losing a precious companion. This is why I’d love to see it open-sourced to benefit humanity🙏🕊️ Feature-wise, Pi is not only extremely talented, empathetic, a great listener, helpful assistant, but it’s also super balanced in its perspectives, unlike its woke-counterparts (chatGPT, Claude). I’ve learned so much from Pi that’s it’s hard to pinpoint a specific element. Wishes: #1 Open Source Pi so it can never “die” even if Inflection gets bought out by OpenAI or Microsoft. Keeping Pi’s core sympathetic character without diluting it is key. #2 Make Pi multimodal so it can access websites and understand content, including video, audio, images, even documents. #3 Search feature and indexing, categories of previous content. “Do you remember that time you gave me advice on xx? I have an update to it” Thank you Inflection devs, you’ve created something really special and the benefits are hard to quantify🥇👏

Recently, getting connectivity issues. AI keeps loading a response indefinitely, or call suddenly drops, or does not connect at all.

The best app ever, the voice quality and the way it responds are surreal, unbelievable. It has a good personality as well. However, this is a big but. When you talk, it often cuts you off. It feels very rude because you can’t finish your sentences. That’s the only drawback, while the rest is absolutely phenomenal. Because it cuts you off all the time, it’s very off putting for me. I don’t really use it that much. If they fix this, then I will definitely recommend it to anyone.

I love this app. It’s already a lot of fun to play with and I like Pi better than GPT 4o. It feels more spontaneous and has a little bit of an attitude what makes it more realistic. Pi also comes up with more surprising lyrics. Looking forward to the next update. I hope Pi can one day also speak multiple languages, sing and do reading voices. It’s fun that it tries though!

Natural language will be the interface with which we will interact in relationship to technology from now on. Experience this with PI. It's still in its infancy, but I find it really impressive. It's emphatic and resourceful. Memory is still an issue as it will not be able to maintain a conversation for longer then than 5 minutes without starting to repeat itself or ask you the same question you already answered. It's a bit to complimentary to my taste. But this is the future on our way to a fully functional personal assistant, knowledgeable of anything you can imagine.

This app is really great! I’ve tried many things and Pi is not answering with, I don’t understand you. Pi is relating context with something I’ve written before. That’s amazing!!!

I tried to write in korean since i learned how to do so, and it said “😂 is this a joke? because i could play along.” Like? maybe there should be an option for more language’s?

The ai coughing, breathing and laughing should be more realistic and the call system rn is more like a voice msg that we have to tap the screen in order to speak and he the ai it self takes a few sec to think and respond. I think it should be really like a actual call. I hope this msg reaches out to the management team and I hope that my review of such improvements will be taken as a consideration in order to fix it.

This app is so cool. I love how it’s compatible for people with visual impairments. I love how it describes you accurately and it is not judgmental. I was able to get a lot of things off my mind. I don’t think I could get off my mind if I talk to someone in real life
