As the title says. It’s unfortunate
I can’t even connect my piano to my iPad anymore. This has happened once before, but then it fixed in like 5 minuets, but this has happened for now 2 days
I loved using the app with the Rp501. I bought an RP701 several months ago and sadly it isn’t supported. Hopefully they’ll add support, then I’d rate this app 5 stars
Not compatible with the new FP30X, wth. Perhaps makes sense, the app looks really old and behaves like it, like an aging grandparent at a nursing home not understanding their grand kids’ kids. They may be from the same family, but they don’t share any references batons their name
Doesn´t work at all with Roland RP102 !
It’s not god at all! It is smart functional but not god layout at all
As Roland is one of the biggest instrument makers in the world I thought that this app would be good. But this app looks like a really bad port over from something that was meant for a computer. It’s so dame ugly. It’s not even full screen on my iPhone X. Make the icons on the home screen bigger. Use some colours. Increase the pixel count, it does not look good at all. The text is to small.
- Updated my F-140R to latest firmware 1.09. Check. -Activated Bluetooth On on the piano. Check. -Activated Bluetooth on iPhone7 / iPad. Check. -Made sure iOS device is Not paired to piano in Bluetooth system setting and does not ‘know’ the piano. Check. Opened latest version of Piano Partner 2 and made it search for Bluetooth MIDI Devices; App says “Searching for Bluetooth LE MIDI Devices...” but never finds the piano. This goes for both the iPhone and the iPad. The piano shows up as F-140R in the list of available (not yet paired) Bluetooth devices alright when scanning with the system Bluetooth settings on the phone, so it’s definitely on.
Nice work on this app
This app is too difficult to use. It doesn’t automatically connect to the piano when turned on. I have to manually select it every time. The front on the sheet music is too small, and there is no way to zoom or adjust it. I am using my iPad and it’s still smaller than standard sheet music. The play through of the songs doesn’t allow you to start playing from a particular measure. It will only start playing from the beginning. Doesn’t matter that I’m working on page two or three. Super frustrating.
