Questionable app in terms of ethics
Used their app “Pick A Trip” on a couple of occasions & have experienced much disappointment. On 2 separate occasions, I had made bookings through the app, payment went through, I received a booking number, received confirmation from my bank as well. But a few minutes later, I received an SMS saying that payment did not go through & immediately when I tried to rebook through the app, the price had already went up significantly. All these just within a couple of minutes. I even called my Bank & they confirmed that payment was made but rejected by the vendor without specific reason. When confronted via email, the customer service just insisted that they can’t do anything despite their Terms of Use confirming that once full payment is received, the purchase is confirmed. This happened not just once, so it has caused doubt to the business ethics of the company.
