PickUp Barbados

We downloaded this app and then were completely ripped off, we paid 90 bajan dollars going and with the app going back was 134! And it was a lesser journey. Avoid.

Professional and affordable prompt taxi service.

We used this app for our 2 week honeymoon in Barbados. The estimated price 99% of the time was spot on. The only issue we had was one of the times I clicked pay by cash and the driver charged $70BBD and not the $48BBD that app said the price should be. Contacted support and they refunded the overpayment and apologised. Thank you Hannah for your great support. Would 100% recommend this app.

It’s quick and easy to book a taxi and it gives you a price range of what you should pay. However, if stuck in traffic that price can be anything! We were charged a lot more than quoted and told it was a distance and meter service, but there are no meters in the taxis! Might as well just flag a taxi down and negotiate.

pickUP Cabs were highly recommended by our fellow hotel guests who were nearing their holiday. The App was easy to download and easy to use with various payment options. We didn’t have to wait long for vehicles that all arrived at the specified time or on some cases a little earlier. Drivers that we had were all very friendly and engaging, which made our drive much more enjoyable. Vehicles were in all good condition and very comfortable. We will be returning back to Barbados next year and pickUP will be our preferred cab service.

Used this app for a week and it’s been faultless for us. Not waited more than 10 minutes and met some fabulous helpful drivers. Used in less touristy areas with no problem.

App is very easy to navigate. It was unclear when downloading the app in UK you couldn’t add a card against your account until arrival into Barbados. But we actually liked being able to use cash. Prices seemed very fair compared to the couple of times we simply jumped in a cab. Would definitely re use. And have already recommended

Easy to use, lots of available taxis nearby & fair prices. I had one small issue and it was resolved by customer service quickly and efficiently.

In and around Bridgetown worked excellently

App works well. Nice to have something like this in the Caribbean. Driver was nice.
