PIdentify

I tried to identify a snake with a very clear picture and it said it can’t and im learning . Tested some more pics and pictures were of a cat a dog a bass and an eastern cougar and it could not id any of those very clear pictures . It would not identify anything lol

I belong to South Carolina snake identification site on Facebook. Identification on this site is for snake experts only. I picked three crystal clear pictures, I mean they couldn’t have been any clearer and perfect with the entire snake face and tail included and I ran them through the app. It could not identify a hognose, even very close up, a clear as day copperhead, nor an equally clear eastern timber rattler. At this time in the apps development it is worthless to me. I haven’t tried it on the other creatures it says you can try since it’s supposed to have a higher success rate at snakes than anything else according to its own ad.

We have been spotted many snakes in our neighborhood recently. I was searching for an app which can help me identify the type of snake. This app does an amazing job in identifying and educating us about snakes. I hope that they continue to expand the identification to other animals.

Very accurately identifies snakes, love it. We have so many snakes in our backyard that I identified using this. It would be nice to add insects there too.
