Apparament il accepte mon paiement en euro ( français) mais leur application ne ce fait pas en français qu’elle dommage je ne comprend pas l’anglais ni l’allemand merci de faire au plus vite car vus le prix du DVA ça serait plus acceptable merci par avance de remédier à ce problème

Why sign up?

I don’t trust this beacon before and after recall. Went through the functions after the recall, but seems to be working normal still. Using the app to further the diagnosis check on the recalled functions. Given the track record of recalls on beacons slides and now search and send failures I would not recommend using this beacon to any client or friend. I’ve practiced with this beacon and many others multiple times a week during my guide season, and it works great (until it doesn’t). Not a risk I’m willing to take with others lives and my own at risk. Please work out these giant flaws and make a better product.

Downloaded the app last year and then all the updates. When I launch the app the Home Screen appears for a second then goes blank. I contacted BD, they seemed concerned but then nothing from them. Just tried the latest update same problem.

Exactly what I would ask of an app that connects to safety equipment.

Great to bring tech info this space. Got pack and beacon updated real quickly.

I have used several beacons and all of the PIEPS and Black Diamond beacons perform the best in my opinion. Easy to use and when in the SEARCH function, I can easily locate other beacons. Every year, I take a refresher course that includes beacon drills where I get to see several brands in action. PIEPS beacons are always performing! If you are serious about snow safety, (which you should be!) you’re making the right choice with this company!

This is such a great idea, keeping my beacon up to date via this app is super convenient and reassures I’ll have my gear in shape ready to go.
