Pingo! Watch: location tracker

After I downloaded the app, the QR code will not appear. Keep getting an error message. Apparently it’s been going on for a while.

App on Apple Watch is not generating the required QR code to pair Watch to the parent app. Tech support claims they are working on this issue, but this is going on now for quite a while.

When setting up and you get to the step to scan the QR code on the watch with your phone the watch will not show a QR code. There is a message in another language with a try again button. Please fix this issue.

I keep getting an error and it will not let me connect my daughters Apple Watch at all. This is so dumb. You either need to redo this app or update it. How are we supposed to keep our kids safe when we can’t keep an eye on them if your apps don’t work.

Instead of barcode there is an error message. Needs to be updated.

Bought my kid an Apple Watch because I wanted to use this app. Loved the phone version to be able to keep an eye on my kid’s location when not with me. Very disappointed that this version is useless!

Unable to pair my child’s Apple Watch. No QR code displays. Just says to try again. I’ve tried reinstalling multiple times with same results. Please fix the QR code or find another way to sync with Apple Watch please!!

The Watch app is currently broken. The developer is aware of the issue and say they are working on it. Unfortunately they’ve been aware of it for over six months now and haven’t fixed the issue. The app will not create a QR code necessary for it to link with the Find My kids app. They should really remove it from the App Store until it is fixed.

The instructions on how to setup an Apple Watch with this app are no longer valid with todays version of watch os and iOS. They need to update the app to address the new user interface and choices for settings required to connect a child’s Apple Watch.
