Beschreibung

Pitch•Lab is an app that produces reference pitches for tuning various stringed instruments.
The pitches are grouped into sets that correspond with stringed instruments and arranged into instrument families. The pitch that is produced is a pure sine wave.
It's easy to use! Swipe left to right to pick your instrument family and then swipe up and down to pick your specific tuning. Tap a note to hear the pitch. Tap the smaller button to produce a pitch one octave above.
Contains pitch sets for the following instrument families:
Guitar:
• Standard (EADGBE)
• DADGAD
• Half step down
• Whole step down
• Open D
Bass Guitar:
• Standard
• 5 String (EADGC)
• 6 String (BEADGC)

I just want to see what hz I’m in.. this app is stunting itself by being both unnecessarily “complex” and limiting

Not happy with updates

This is the only tuner I use because it’s freaking awesome. Unfortunately, when the new operating systems come out they are very slow to update. I’m giving this app four stars because of the versatility, it’s losing one full star because I don’t know when I get to use it next. That tells me that I’m talking about a very good app, but what good is it if I can’t use it?

No way to change the temperament

This app offers no way to program in a historical temperament and it gives a choice of set pitches. One may want to tune to a415, or even vary the pitch slightly, such as 440.5 Some tuning apps will tell you exactly what pitch you are at. This doesn’t do that either. It would probably do for people who don’t need these functions.

Perfect for musicians

This app does exactly what you need it to. It plays a white noise free note at varying frequencies so that you can have a pitch reference for whatever you are trying to do. Wonderful app. Phenomenally programmed. Great job.

Chromatic tuning please.

I play many instruments that are not common such as a hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, zither, and multiple others. These instruments don’t always have a set way of tuning them so it varies from one player to another. So I think it would be nice to have a set of pitches that are chromatic, even if it is only C4-C5. I can work from there to get the rest of the instrument in tune.
