Emlid RX issues
For the last 2 months this app has not been reliable with the Emlid RX. Either I crashes or it shows an SDK error. As a result, I have been unable to fully test the Pix4D+EmlidRX integration.

You can pair it with a compatible RTK device to achieve centimeter-level accuracy for better 3D model precision and geolocation, and for performing single-point measurements.
To generate georeferenced 3D models, the collected images can be uploaded to PIX4Dcloud or exported to PIX4Dmatic. Both offer a 15-day trial to get started. Projects can also be freely exported, processed, and visualized in third-party photogrammetry software.
Workflow
1 - Scan: walk around your site. The app automatically gathers data and gives live feedback with iOS LiDAR, ensuring you capture every detail. For better accuracy, you can use either an RTK device compatible with PIX4Dcatch, our Pix4D targets with a fully automated workflow, or combine both for really accurate results.
2 - Upload or export: to process the data, upload it to PIX4Dcloud or export it to desktop software PIX4Dmatic. Get high-quality, accurate 2D and 3D outputs.
3 - Analyze and share: measure the space, share your results, and enjoy all the benefits of a detailed 3D model of your surroundings. Benefit from an immersive experience with augmented reality.
This workflow can be used for digitizing construction sites, measuring volumes (of stockpiles and other objects), keeping permanent records of underground utilities, and verifying your previously captured 3D models in AR in real time. Measure single points with confidence by using our compatible RTK devices. Digitize reality with your mobile phone.

Pay to use my own RTK???
Why do I need to pay $199 a month to be able to use my own RTK NTRIP corrections and my Reach RX. If I select RTK via Bluetooth, I am directed to a “pay to play” subscription portal. None of the recent YouTube videos mention this. I am forced to use my iPhone gps sensor or pay $2400 a year. I am a land surveyor. I need the RTK accuracy. Am I missing something or is this a bait and switch sale promotion. Dennis

Game changer !!!! Must use device!
Almost there…
Great multi function product but outputs contradict. When exporting a scan, photo geo tags are in gps (lat/lon). When exporting GCP’s, coordinates are in SPC (northing/easting). Works great when staying contained within PIX4D environment. However limits using in 3rd party software (ie Faro 3D or Leica Map 360). Having the GCP’s export in GPS coordinates as well would be beneficial to be able to use the viDoc to pickup extra points on a scene and just add them to an existing project like a total station or gnss receiver. * Using RTK and referring to csv outputs

The app fails in so many levels, developers step your game up, stop being lazy.

Finally got the data processed
A quick 45sec scan took 4 days to process. Would not recommend for business applications.
Photogrammetry at your phingertips
Long time pix4d user for drone based 3D modeling. PIX4DCatch is the perfect ground based photo capture tool. Depth images from the iPhone 12 Pro make really crisp models. Always improving software makes capture and quality estimation in the field a breeze! Well done.
Issues
Upload doesn’t work for Dropbox or OneDrive. Mesh doesn’t display like past versions. Captured 640 images in a few minutes, but didn’t build an accurate model. Needs instructions or tips, and needs some bugs fixed. Also why does it export tons of files, if only the photos are processed? Good idea, but it needs improved. Been waiting for an update for months.
Disappointed
Low resolution 3D models! DroneDeploy is so much better. The app is hard to use and I wouldn’t recommend this at its current state to anyone.
