I Wanted to Like
I really wanted to like this app. It’s a hole-in-the-wall type of app, and I’ve found many to be diamonds in the rough. However, this particular application has fallen short. The editor is simple and clean, aside from the banner advertisement at the bottom, and the UI seems to be quite responsive. I would enjoy the option to set a specific size/resolution, but considering the scope of the app, I was satisfied with the + and - buttons. Why 1-Star? While this app has potential to be a real gem, a simplified concept that appears to function smoothly, it is absolutely riddled with advertisements. Users should not be encumbered with advertisements to this degree. I understand that developers put time, effort, and experience into their programs, but placing ad-barriers around the few features available makes the app a chore to actually use. Until advertisements are dialed down, I’m going to shelf this one. I don’t expect to see these changes made considering the average rating and age of the app. This project appears more abandoned than not, which is a true tragedy; this niche app would have fit my needs perfectly.
