What breaks pixelmator for me is that i want all my photos to be in my photos library. i want to easily open and edit, then i *always* want to save the edited photo back to the same place. I cannot browse, but must press plus, ”import”, edit, and then export again. During this process, a pxm file has been created that i neither need nor want. It takes up 3xtra space, i have the image in two places, and i have to remember to go in and clean up regularly. This is cumbersome, and makes me just settle for the built-in tools in the Photos app most of the time.

Can’t edit photo directly from photos album,and the quality is descreased when its exported ..

It would be really nice to have compatibility with the Mac version of the app...

Pixelmator is unbeatable as a photoediting app. I just wish they would continue updating the app with more modern features and some tweaking. For example the eraser doesnt scale when you zoom in to the picture, you have to always manually adjust the size of the eraser. There should be a option for auto-scaling. Maybe some UI tweaks for simplicity and more fluidity inspired from photofox Take some inspiration from pixaloop, werble, photofox and picsart. Include more FX effects, ability to animate photos, layer based video overlays. Maybe for pixelmator 2? Yes, I can still hope to see pixelmator become a desktop class photo editor with some level of video editing to. For example ability to mask a photo with video and even masking videos with a pen/brush tool.

I used Pixelmator for maybe an hour or two, it worked perfectly and was better than what I expected, but later on I downloaded a gfx pack and it used it. Then when I closed the app and atarted it agactually n the screen is completely dark and I can’t do anything, the app closes and still is dark. Please help.

I love how Pixelmator for iPhone is as intuitive and super easy to work with as the OS version. It’s my nr. 1 photo editor

Sometimes when I work on images, they ”spontaneously combust” or they just clear themselves leaving me with the last pen stroke on a clear canvas. Not even white. Just empty canvas! Being fast enough to press the [Undo] button some times can save the image. Sometimes only 50% of the image returns! I had this issue like 3~ish times. The app freezes for some seconds then the ”spontaneous combustion” takes place. Very weird.
