It’s difficult to gain insight about what this app is attempting to accomplish, it’s brightly coloured interface, like a child’s colouring book, is instantly jarring, inputting a task is at best confusing and often mind-bogglingly nonsensical, for example I struggle to see the point of adding documents or photos to a list but outside of and not linked to any particular item in that list. The app seems unable to reliably sync between devices and the Watch app is frankly a hot mess. Right now the app feels very much like a school project, maybe some sort of proof of concept, in either case the concept is in the toilet. The app needs a complete rethink and I’m not entirely sure if anything in its current form can be, or is worth salvaging.

I have been using this app for the last few years it’s ok but got used to it and look lifetime option so I would get updates The new app 5 is here so downloaded and now won’t recognise my lifetime subscription I have asked the owner for help advice was restart my phone ! No that did not work Since I have tried to ask again for assistance but nothing Do not purchase this app the support is dreadful Wasted £49 and no support

Unusable - just hangs every time I enter settings

This is the app I have been looking for my whole life. I lead a very busy life as a freelancer for many companies. I have to be in many places in one day and this app has given me a way to make sure I am on top of my workload as well as appearing extremley efficient and organised. I can't tell you how much I love this app - if I could design an app - it would be this!!!!!! There are a couple of user friendly tweaks I would like to see but apart from that it is AMAZE ING!!

What seemed like a cool app I had to immediately delete because everything that has a moderate amount of utility is locked under premium. I get it, this is created to make money and generate revenue, but how can we get a taste of what the app is and get hooked into it with some of the ridiculous limitations of the free version? E.g. I wanted to create a few lists and start adding tasks - hold up, you can only create 2 lists in the free version. Insta deleted - and no I don’t want to try demo versions that get me to submit my CC info and forget to cancel. Unlock some of your app’s features and make them more accessible under the free version to at least showcase your product before asking us to commit.

Love the app and concept but really buggy, freezing, crashing and not updating latey, working better on mobile.

App looks beautiful however it’s not really functional as the widgets are just black, even after you’ve set the list name. If this worked I’d probably be able to use it but I’m about to look at other options 😞

Love the structure of the app, the planning structure really works for me but unfortunately I can't say the same about the app itself. Almost everytime I add, edit or complete a task, the app freezes. Sometimes I can quit the app and reopen it and it will work for a while, other times I've had to restart my macbook to do anything with it. Thought it might be a problem with my macbook but a similar thing happens with the app on my iphone. Such a shame.

I’m a regular user of Planning and To-Do Apps and as Apple was recommending Planny I’ve given it a try for the last week and purchased one of the quarterly subscriptions. In short, my experience of Planny has been frustrating. There are some nice things about it: Live Actions is great to have. Workflows are also a nice idea. But overall the app implementation is frustrating and at times baffling. I followed the FAQs and Support pages, but even so I encountered the following: Notifications don’t work for me at all, despite following the devs advice on their support page. Tags list will show as still having tasks in the list even when there is no task to complete. Calendar events are shown in daily briefing to start the day, but then don’t appear in the Planny Calendar alongside tasks after that. When I change the date of a task and move it to another day, it stops appearing in tags or lists completely. I have reached out to the devs via email, but no reply yet, so maybe these are all issues they’re aware of or else I’m doing something really wrong. IMO Planny feels like a really good app that hasn’t quite appeared yet. At the moment it feels over-complicated and a bit random. At the end of the day if you need a manual to keep using a planner/to-do list then IMO it’s purpose is defeated. I’m on a 14 Pro using latest iOS 16.1

Nice app, great features but there are a few persistent bugs which aren’t getting resolved with each update. While I like the app, the fact I can’t rely on it to work correctly is very annoying since I purchased the Lifetime version for £44.99. For such an expensive app I would expect it to work flawlessly. I certainly wouldn’t expect the same on-going bugs a number of months down the line. Because of this I’m having to revert back to my previous apps, which were both a lot cheaper and work as described. Very disappointed and annoyed that I bought this app.
