Grand fan de Bookcamp pour Plex, je suis maintenant grand fan de Plappa qui fait tout pareil pour Emby. Je gardais Plex uniquement à cause de cette application, je peux enfin tout migrer sous Emby. Merci, super app !

It delights me when an open source project delivers on the promise of open source. Plappa has the features I actually want in an audiobook player, and it works beautifully. I appreciate that the developer engages with issues on GitHub. Happy to have my whole family paying for this one to support the developers!

This app is fantastic. I have tried multiple apps for listening to books from audiobookshelf or plex and this is by far the most reliable!

I’ve been using this audiobook app for a few months now, and it has completely transformed my listening experience. The interface is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to browse, purchase, and organize my library. I love the sleep timer feature, which is perfect for winding down at night, and the playback speed options let me customize my experience to suit the story or narrator. The audio quality is excellent, and I’ve never had any issues with buffering or skipping. The ability to download books for offline listening is a lifesaver for commutes and travel. Plus, the personalized recommendations have helped me discover some fantastic titles I might not have found otherwise. My only small suggestion would be to add more sorting and filtering options in the library section, but overall, this app is top-notch. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys audiobooks! I have been waiting for an app like this. Cant believe this has everything that i need to listen to audiobooks on phone and watch

The app works well, has good features, and looks great. I primarily use it to listen to audiobooks from my audiobookshelf server and there are a couple issues that keep me from giving the app a better rating. -The downloaded book support doesn’t seem to be truly offline. When the end of a chapter is reached it seems to try and sync the play status with the server and it often fails resulting in starting the chapter over from the beginning. This mostly happens at the end of a chapter but sometimes happens half way through. - Streaming live from the server works a lot better but oftentimes when reaching the end of a chapter it hangs and doesn’t load the next chapter until you press “pause” and then “play” again.

Needs that.

Works flawlessly. It’s audible for your home server! Best features by far are the synchronization between multiple devices. Bookmarks and last paused location works well. Sometimes I have to close and open the app to get syncing to update but that should be fixed in future updates. Maybe a refresh button? I’m using it with Audiobookshelf and my Synology NAS with my Mac and iOS devices. I purchased the app immediately and it gives me download options. Sync still works after download, which is great for offline transfer between devices without having to stream the audio. I’m hoping for an option to “clear all downloads globally”within the app. It’s done individually right now. It can also be done in iOS settings/storage as well. I’m hoping they refine a few more features found BookPlayer like auto sleep timer when resuming playback (doesn’t work for me) and a more clearly accessible bookmarks area. (It’s hidden in playlist tab). Also bookmarks should work without text input like a chapter marker. Great start for a new app though. If you have a home server and love audiobooks , this is a must own!

I have a library for my books, and this app is so much better than prologue for audiobooks. I also appreciate the car play application. I’ve bought the app appreciate the support.
