• Audio: Hear Mandarin and Cantonese for words and example sentences using iOS' free built-in text-to-speech system. We also offer add-ons ($) with native-speaker Mandarin recordings and higher-quality Mandarin TTS.

Можно докупить платные дополнения (add-ones): - рукописный полноэкранный ввод иероглифов; - флэшкарты для изучения иероглифов; - возможность конвертировать собственные словари (например Котова и БКРС); - optical recognize - через камеру iphone распознаёт напечатанные иероглифы и переводит (мне помогло в путешествии по Китаю).. - разбор иероглифов по ключам; - словарь счетных слов; - порядок начертания иероглифов; - встроенный ридер; - и многое другое... p. s. В общем, это лучшее приложение для изучения китайского...

Thank god for Pleco
Everything about this is right
Heritage speaker, can’t read or write despite taking Chinese in elementary and college. This app is perfect in almost every way. If you can write characters, you can input what you see, if you need to write something you can say, you can use pinyin to input. I feel like it has helped me have more adult conversations with my parents. Love that it isn’t a subscription. The OCR needs some work, but honestly this app has been life changing for me.
This is the only dictionary for Chinese to ever exist.
No joke. Been using it for years and EVERY Chinese learner should have it on their phone.
Very solid application
I have been using for over 11 years. I have never seen a better dictionary that offers the same quality with ease of use.
Very Good but can be better
I enjoy using it for years. I hope it can be a learning tool as well. I added a few extras such as ChengYu, Proverbs, but they only appear when you searched. If it can automatically show as a daily learner in the notification(level graded), they can greatly extend the value. 期待“每日一词/语”

The only app I need--one request!!
I've tried all of the other Chinese dictionaries and flashcard apps, and this one is the best and most comprehensive. I recommend buying the add-ons, especially the outlier dictionary. Super interesting to see the origins of characters. The prices are fair and one-time, which I really appreciate in a world of subscriptions. One request: please make an instruction manual or something for the settings! There are so many settings and features, which is great, but no explanations of what they do and difficult to find how to use them online. I've been experimenting and realizing how much potential is in the flashcard system, but it's a very high learning curve to utilize it. Otherwise, perfect app don't waste time/money on others!
