No distance filter on a dating app? I don’t want to see people 45 miles away stop showing me them.
Never enough people to keep me interested. Some days no one new to look at, changing to major cities doesn’t change it either. Maximum I’ve seen is 5 people in a day before you wait 24hr to have it maybe give you 1 more. Most are hours away. But it’s fun for the group classes, tantra, meditation and such, so that’s different.
The vast majority of events listed in my city are at one exclusive, ridiculously expensive club where I don’t feel comfortable going. If I wanted to know about their events I would just check their website. The few other events I found had vague descriptions and often indicated that there was a cover charge, but not what the charge is. Guess what? When you message the organizer, It’s super expensive. It’s billed as a place to meet people but I didn’t meet anyone, because like other apps, people will never see your “bud” requests unless they pay the monthly fee. The app shows you exactly five random people a day. Maybe once or twice a week there was someone I found attractive or interesting, but as stated above, no actual connections in my city. There’s no way to know if anyone has been on the site recently. I suspect I was seeing a lot of dead profiles. There are lots and lots of discussion threads where you can talk to people halfway across the country about whatever, but I could do that for free on Reddit. I regret paying for a month of this.
What I have been witnessing is Bloom’s hosted events have been directly copied from other businesses and groups. This includes blatant coping of itineraries, copywriting and direct competition for venues, siphoning off attendees from women, poc snd queer spaces. As far as community, it is very limited. You are better of using known platforms and community websites sites over this app to find events and people.
Supposed to get new buddy suggestions each day, got a couple to begin with and now I very rarely get any. I also don’t like it that if someone wants to chat with you, you get sent to the pay first page.
Don’t bother, nothing but trash business practices. Business list there parties for free on the app and when you get in the front door they ask you for a big $$$$ amount to enter the venue then you can’t report them at all in the app. This is so unreal. Don’t even think about joining this garbage. Stupid app and unethical practices. Stay away
If you are heterosexual and or black it’s not going to work in you for favor , lame cash grab at best
Hi For the past 6+ months I have been getting the “ Something went wrong. Please try again”. Error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app… and have the latest version. Yet the issue persists
Saw this app on my friends phone and it looked so cool! I’ve been trying to make an account for 2 days, deleting and redownloading the app, with no luck. I keep getting a message that says, “an error has occurred and we were unable to create your account. Please try again later”. Would love to try this app so hoping this bug/problem gets fixed
