Cases in point: “PLU payouts were temporarily restricted for a small number of accounts that breached our Terms & Conditions.” No you arbitrarily altered and also illegally backdated your terms and conditions, this is NOT the same as a customer breaching them! “and you can request a payout.” This is a lie, look up Plutus_uncensored on Reddit for further evidence. “As a regulated entity, we are committed to upholding our obligations to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and adhering to strict compliance standards. If you believe there has been a mistake, please contact support and we’ll investigate further.” This company cannot be regulated in anyway as otherwise they would clearly be admitting they are in breach of the law if they were! “We strive to maintain an open and respectful dialogue with our community.” Your CEO is openly abusive and derogatory about customers, are you really going to peddle this line?! “we actively encourage constructive feedback across appropriate channels.” No they do not they shut down ANYONE AND EVERYONE that even the slightest bit criticises them. “Our CEO, Danial, has been vocal in crypto since 2012, openly addressing industry challenges and safeguarding our platform for loyal users. If his content isn’t for you, feel free to unfollow or block.” Really we have to block someone to prevent them from being abusive and offensive? He needs to grow up. —————————————— This organisation is now acting in an unethical and most likely illegal way. At the same time as claiming on the front page of their own website that tokens can be withdrawn to self custody AND claiming the service is a cashback card, they are now refusing withdrawal requests and closing accounts simply at a whim. Their excuse? A change in terms and conditions, which would be all well and good but they are retroactively applying the terms and conditions to 12 months of past transactions, which by any definition is most definitely illegal under current UK contract law. Their ‘support’ channels (such that they are) are full of ‘ambassadors’ that do nothing but shut down honest discourse, their leader is outwardly abusive about customers (he clearly has a Musk Complex) and their support staff actively lie in their responses (which I can demonstrate in all of the correspondence I have had recently). The company operates deceptively and the app is very poorly made. Edit: Worse is their response doesn’t even address my grievance. Their Trustpilot rating tells me everything!

Account Closed & all rewards taken because I didn’t use the card for 1 year, ridiculous to seize all my saved up rewards, there are many options for crypto debit cards. Do NOT make the same mistake I did, don’t go anywhere near this company your money is NOT safe.

Can’t login as the two factor authentication will no longer load up in the app. Clearly no one has tested this before making it live!

Didn’t use my debit card for a week. They blocked access to the app unless I pay them a fee. They said this was due to ‘inactivity’. I can’t access the gift cards I bought. Just avoid. Edit..Their response is untrue. They emailed me to say they will close my account unless I pay them a fee. They gave me 10 days to pay them or they would close my account.

I used Plutus app for more than two years without any problem, but in the latest weeks it is not working anymore. Basically, is it not possible to log in, unless you cancel and reinstall the app. Even in this case, after some minutes you are logged up and then you have to reinstall the app to log in again… it needs an updated version ASAP!

You are unable to use any of the cashback token or rewards without paying significantly more than the value (which depreciates daily) in real money.

Please help me report this app. I fell into the scam by depositing £20 and since then fiat withdrawal was suspended my account was authorised and they had all my identification. For more than 8 months before all the latest updates I have been promised by their support that my money will be returned and account closed. This is a lie, they continue to hold my money and I have not had my money returned and they are now closing accounts unless you pay a monthly fee. Another part of the elaborate SCAM! I have 10+ support tickets from the last 8 months all they say is that they will help return my money and close the account. Lies. Please stay away from this company.

TOTAL SCAM... avoid, avoid, avoid! First up: I've been with Plutus about 3 years, and to date lost about £4,000 on this ponzi scheme masquerading as a cashback card. The premise is you buy their token, and holding a certain amount gives you access to rewards... except soon they added monthly subscription models too (30/ month) to be able to get those rewards... except then they massively reduced the spending limits from 20k/month to 1k/month... and then they changed all the tiers and reshuffled... and then a few months later they introduced some other type of con.... and so I thought enough is enough.. but wait.. all that cashback, if I actually want to withdraw it now (which takes a long time is a fraught with delays) I have to PAY 33% IN CASH to withdraw it... yes, that's right, they've slashed every loyal member's cashback by a third, but don't even want it, so they're just taking cash so you can get their worthless tokens... which are dropping by the day... meaning, yes, they have won. All the cashback I've earned over the last few years, they basically get away with not paying, as I'm not giving these scam artists another penny. STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY!!!
