PMI Study Hall

Nowhere in the app description does it say it costs money. Only after they have your info do you see that you need to pay. Not even within the app, you need to buy it on their website and add it to your account. And it’s quite expensive. There are free apps that have paid versions that are cheaper and probably as good.

The content on PMI study hall is great. The downfall with this study tool is their app takes a very long time to load and at times won't load at all. Online version doesn't seem to have the same issue.

The content is very well organized and covers exactly all the requirements on the exam. It was fun to use and encouraging to watch my progress through the different knowledge areas. I especially appreciated the mock exams and the practice questions. Many of the questions where very similar to what I saw in the real PMP exam, and the difficulty level was on point as well. However, I found the case study videos lame, they didn’t address the topic very well and often did not add any value. Also some of the questions had horrible grammar and spelling, and some were simply wrong.

SH is a valuable resource for those studying for their PMP, but it isn’t perfect. The app is glitchy, the practice exams (the most valuable part) are full of grammatical errors, and the full practise exams are composed of way too many expert level questions (1/3 of all questions) for novice PM’s

This really helped me prep to pass the exam. I used it when I didn’t have time for a practice exam, plus I took the practice exams on the app a couple of times. The questions in this study guide were closer to the actual exam question than anything else I used.

I don’t know if people are frustrated with only the app but you will NOT regret getting study hall to air in your PMP prep

Requires a log in every time I open the app. No option to save login details. Only able to reset individual tests, not individual practice question categories. A LOT of expert level questions are either straight up wrong, misaligned with the pmbok/agile mindset, and/or references some obscure research paper that distracts from the key concepts. I really don’t think they add much value when it comes to preparing students for the test.

This app is unusable on iOS. I can’t believe that this is the final product that was delivered to the users! What a joke, especially coming from PMI.

Do better, PMI. Please.

When using the question of the day the app will not load. It gives the option to hit a button to force it to load and still doesn't. I offer my time to give feedback to developers, if needed. I am paying for this experience and can’t use it.
