Only received 30% of items ordered…
It’s a Friday afternoon. You’re exhausted from caring for two young children by yourself and the house is a mess. You’re low on supplies and don’t have the energy to go shopping. Oh, wait.. you don’t have to! You were smart. You ordered from Park n Shop two days earlier and the delivery is due today! The delivery arrives, joy! It must be packed pretty tight because you’re pretty sure you ordered more than that. They hand you the receipt and cold reality sets in. More than half of the items have been crossed off from the list. Everyday items like nappies, toilet paper, tissues and pasta became out of stock AFTER you paid for them 2 days earlier. You’re just finding out about this now, no emails, no nothing… It’s ok you tell yourself, surely the other items are coming in another delivery. You check the receipt. You’ve been refunded for the missing items?? But… you don't want a refund… you want your toilet paper. You’ve been waiting days and you’re down to the last roll! They even said they delivered the berocca but it’s definitely not in the box T_T Surely this is a mistake. You pick up the phone and dial the number on the receipt. You patiently progress through the menu and queue while your 2 year old is drawing on the walls. The phone rings, a voice on the other end tells you that customer support is only available during business hours on weekdays. You submit an enquiry on your order through the app. There aren’t any options for “half my order was cancelled without notification”. All you can do it wait and hope… … or maybe you should just vote with your feet and not bother with Park n Shop ever again. You don’t have time to deal with unreliable and unaccountable behaviour.
