Pocket Bard App

I’ve only dabbled in D&D but downloaded out of curiosity. Turns out it’s perfect background for readers! Read Fourth Wing using the ‘Mountains’ scene; Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow with ‘Deep Space’; and now I’m reading Priory of the Orange Tree using ‘Plains’. Being able to control intensity and volume of music, atmos, and weather elements is a game-changer. I’ve also used it as a sleep soundscape too! Incredible app. And the music is beautiful too.

This app is amazing, wasn’t expecting it to be free which has absolutely blown my mind

This looks like one day it will be a great app. I love how the ai seamlessly mixes the changes in intensity and location. However I’ve been unable to find a price for its subscription or create an account as it just gives me incorrect parameters error messages. Having just a town scene is limited but I’m sure as they grow so will their library

When being a DM involves so much planning it’s great to have one thing on hand to help take away the stress. I’ve been using this app for a few months now for the game I run and honestly I can’t ever see myself going back. To just be able to easily change the mood and adapt to the scene with a few simple flicks of my finger. My players have loved the intensity building in the music when a scene is building or the change alongside “roll initiative” gets everyone hyped. Great App!

being able to crank the intensity on tracks is so cool! great fx, can’t wait to see what they add. i gave 5 stars with a bit of hope, please can packs be made available to be bought individually. i’d love to support you guys but I can’t justify another subscription. otherwise the app is really robust and dynamic sounding. they’ve done a cracking job with this, DMs definitely check it out.

This is a great app. I love the way it works and how it lets you control the atmosphere you’re going for. I would pay for premium if it gave you the ability to create your own scenes with your own music/SFX.

This feels close to that procedural music perfection that makes RPG ambience so much simpler. Clean UI, great tracks, and so much to test for free. Please add a tavern because I need somewhere to start my Pocket Bard supported campaign!

Has a good range of music and ambient sounds to create a beautiful soundscape either for games or just as background noise but currently it instantly makes my iPhone 13 Pro get ridiculously hot, to the point where I can’t use the app for longer than 10 minutes. I also think the sliders for the volumes should just be included with the rest of the sliders instead of being in a settings menu, it just adds another step to the customisation that isn’t necessary Overall not bad but needs some work

Super fun to use, tried it out on one of my Dnd sessions and I loved it! So much fun to use and freedom to create any kind of scenarios, can’t wait to see future updates for this.

I literally just got the app, and I am in love. It has the smoothest transition between adventure, combat, and victory music. Some of the best white noise and sound effects I’ve ever heard! I will be sure to use it whenever I play DnD with my family and friends. Again, love the app!
