PokerGO: Stream Poker TV

If PokerGO wants to hinder the growth of live poker for their own monetary benefit, and charge more for a subscription then literally every single subscription viewing service, then they should make sure their app is functional and doesn’t require someone to load it countless times without getting a black screen and lagging video play. I decided to subscribe to watch the ME FT, but I will not be renewing.

Recently watched section is all wrong. It shows episodes I watched long ago but doesn't show ones I half finished recently.

So many features missing. So much WSOP content missing. Helmuths record setting WSOP victory wasn’t even broadcast. That’s like a hockey network not broadcasting the Stanley Cup. Embarrassing. Too busy self promoting recycled concepts for gimmicky shows. WSOP is far from what it use to be. Watching a generic single table for 6-8 hours as oppose to the great entertainment of stars and amateurs of the past is no comparison. Other shows feel recycled with no passion or heart. The site has no soul.

UPDATE (2022-11-18): the below issue I raised earlier appears to have been addressed. Thank you! —————- Really annoying behaviour: If you flip the phone from landscape to vertical, the player pauses and you need to press play. I am often am only listening to the audio and have phone in my pocket. If I take it out to view something in landscape, and place it back in pocket (vertically), it pauses. Please fix this.

I decided to give my money to poker go again after not subscribing for 5 years and the app is STILL not functional , it still says that I’m not subscribed even though I just paid for a months subscription and it says It’s active on my iPhone settings . Poker go has ruined live Poker for me for a long time now as they put much of the content behind a pay wall which prevents others around the world from seeing it. With all the hype and attention around poker these days , we need NEW EYES to see it so it can grow. Poker go prevents new eyes from seeing the game unlike when the Wsop was shown on ESPN and everybody was talking about . There high monthly/annual fees are high for what they offer. Entity’s like Hustler Casino are doing the right thing by showing free content and will eventually be more popular and successful than PokerGO , the whole platform just seems outdated and who ever thinks a large percentage ok poker players are going to pay monthly for this are insane. DO YOURSELVES AND THE PLAYERS A FAVOUR , make content FREE , publish more on YouTube , and start competing with the streams that will eventually put your buisness under if you don’t change the app functionality/ paywall / lack of getting players involved with there sport.

Would be awesome if you could download videos to your device for when WiFi and data are unavailable. Without that the app isn’t worth much as rather watch on tv or laptop at that point. Paying for this subscription without this option is very disappointing. YouTube seems to be the better platform for watching poker.

It’s unbelievable

Absolutely infuriating that you can’t chromecast from the app, please fix this!

Prepaid for 1 year subscription and the content didn’t unlock. How can these guys be so unorganized! I am now in the process of asking Apple for a refund, what a waste of time.
