Fokus Timer - DEEP

The app instantly greeted me with a forced subscription, which is fine to me, but just so you know. It then contined to force me to turn over my device to start a timer, hell I don’t want this, I just want to press a butten, but disabling this functionality was only possible after doing it once. Which btw is not possible for some of the handicapped folk. The okay, I started a timer, muted and on silent mode, and began my work. And when it expired there was a freaking sound! I checked and the app was active in the background the entire time eating my battery just for a simple ding I didn’t sign up for!! I downloaded this app because the promise of an Apple Watch app and the feature to reply to messages to easly start another focus. The latter worked flawlessly and I thank you for that. The Apple Watch App, However, is a total scam. Not only does it not let me interact at all with the timer (it is literally just text), it also annoyingly prompts me to add the complication I don’t want!! All in all, if you don’t care about apple watch and just want a app that plays some sounds you can also find on youtube, that the app for you. Otherwise I suggest looking further.

Not intuitive, user experience is not great, and very limited number of background. Overpriced - there are better free pomodoro timer apps with background music out there 😬

Looked beautiful and promising, but once in the app there were no way of accessing it without a payment subscription. In the comments here the company says it is free which was not true. It looks promising and I think it would be better with a single purchase directly in app-store rather than being bated in and then having to pay.

Sorry but the huge pop-up with a special offer before being able to try the app is a big no-no from me so deleted after wasting 10 minutes trying to get into the app.

The app itself is fine but the non-stop reminders to buy paid version are disgustingly annoying

Wow i love it i get anger issues and somrtimes i have to whistle welp no more i just go settings then press control genere press hearing then swip up you will see an ear icon press it you can enable it and disable it I have it on rn it’s the rain one or whatever enyways this app is very good it help a lot thx I found it !!!?

Terrible

Comments under other reviews are saying that there’s a 7-day trial. Doesn’t seem to be the case as of today. The app forces you to pay full price without any trial. Very difficult to understand how the app even looks like and what it can do.

Had to delete immediately as no way to even try it out without a subscription starting at £19.99. Just pops up with that screen without letting you go any further.

I wasn’t able to actually get to using this app because the pop up asking to pay either for 3 months or a one off payment wouldn’t disappear and let me see if the app was something I would find useful. I don’t want to commit money to something I don’t know if I will enjoy using unfortunately so deleted after 5 minutes of trying to get past the paywall for a test run. There was no trial option.
